Yumcha Heroes

Das ist aber mal eine schöné Überraschung, denke ich. Ein Amuse-​Gueule in Berlin kommt nicht alle Tage vor. Zu früh gefreut. Das Salatblatt mit der sparsamen Füllung ist schon die Bestellung. Halb so wild, denke ich. Da wurde wohl etwas verwechselt und statt des Oktopussalats versehentlich etwas Anderes serviert. Wieder daneben. Das hat schon alles seine Richtigkeit. Doch wo nur ist der Oktopus? Tatsächlich, mit detektivischer Gründlichkeit lassen sich ein, zwei Saugnäpfe und ein paar Streifen weißen Fleisches finden. Entspricht in Menge und Dekorationskunst in etwa dem, was ein wilder Raubfisch übriglässt, wenn er einen Kopffüßer zwischen die Zähne kriegt. Dafür gibt’s keine Sterne (aber die Hefebällchen sollen ja ganz gut sein).

Ok, ich gebe zu, dass ich mit anderen Erwartungen ins Yumcha Heroes gegangen bin. Ich war auf der Suche nach einem authentischen Dim Sum– Restaurant in Berlin und habe es im Yumcha Heroes nur bedingt gefunden.
Die Küche ist eine Adaption des Themas Dim Sum. Das ist sicherlich nichts verwerfliches, zudem auch die klassische Dim Sum-​Küche einen großen Variantenreichtum kennt und jeder Koch, der etwas auf sich hält, mindestens eine eigene Kreation — neben den Klassikern wie Siu Mai, Har Gow oder Lo Mai Gai– in der Speisekarte vorhält.
Allerdings haben mich die Kreationen von Yumcha Heroes mich weder geschmacklich noch von ihrer Kreativität her vom Hocker gerissen.
Es war zwar alles annehmbar, aber irgendwie hat die Rafinesse und die Leichtigkeit gefehlt. Die Teigtaschen waren viel zu mächtig und man war nach 3 Gerichten schon satt. Zudem haben viele Taschen irgendwie ‘ähnlich’ geschmeckt. Von Varientenreichtum keine Spur.
Für Liebhaber der authentischer asiatischer Restaurants reiht das Yumcha Heroes sich leider in die Reiher der typischen ‘Mitte-​Restaurants’ ein: Hippes Ambiente bei weniger prickelndem Essen.

Wir waren mittags im Yumcha Heroes und hatten reserviert, was auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert ist, da der Laden zu dieser Zeit sehr voll ist. Und wenn ich voll schreibe, meine ich auch voll, denn hier ist wirklich jeder Quadratzentimeter ausgenutzt. Die Tische stehen extrem eng, so dass, wenn man nicht mit dem Rücken zur Wand sitzt, ständig von andern Gästen oder gar der Bedienung angerempelt wird. Apropos Bedienung: Diese hat es weder geschafft, in einer annehmbaren Zeit unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen (andere, die nach uns kamen und bestellten, bekamen das Essen dann schneller) oder die Rechnung zu bringen. Selbst als man dann mit dem Geld da saß, dauerte es noch mal sehr lange, bis dann endlich mit einem gemurmelten «Entschuldigung» kassiert wurde. Es passt zu dem Eindruck, dass, als meiner Begleitung ein Stück Gurke von dem Getränk, welches gerade von der Bedienung hingestellt wurde, auf den Schoß fiel, dieses komplett ignoriert wurde. Hier gab es dann keine Entschuldigung oder gar den Versuch, das Getränk mit einer neuen Gurke zu versehen (wohlgemerkt, das war die Schuld der Bedienung). Zielgruppe scheint der übliche Mitte /​Prenzlauer Berg /​Hipster Mix samt C-​Promi zu sein, der sich an allem nicht zu stören scheint. Dass das Essen dann nicht komplett kam, sondern erst ein Teil meiner Bestellung, dann nach 5 Minuten ein weiterer Teil für meine Begleitung und schließlich nach 10 Minuten der Rest kam, ist dann nur noch eine Randnotiz. Einzig das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und verhilft zu einem weiteren Stern. Hier sollte man also nur hingehen, wenn man viel Zeit hat, nicht zur Stoßzeit essen will (dann ist es wohl leerer und man hat ein wenig Platz) und über den miserablen Service hinwegsehen kann.

I don’t know what has changed, but the dumplings we had last night tasted awful. If I were to guess, they used leftovers from yesterday (or even days ago). The «steamed» shrimp dumplings looked just like the «pan fried» version — both were very greasy and the dumpling wrap/​dough was very chewy. It also had a very foul stench.
Months has gone by since we ate here and we liked the place, but we’re no longer going to eat here. Seriously, there are a lot of other places popping up that’s offering fresh, tasty, dim-​sum.

The best Chinese dumplings I’ve had in Berlin, this far. Shanghai soup dumplings were good, but should have also been served with a spoon, to prevent broth from leaking out before eating. The beef dumplings were the best — very flavorful & aesthetic with black sepia-​died colored dumpling –skin. The décor is very innovative — my faves bring the purple tinged lighted window into the kitchen, the wrapper-​style ceiling lamps, and the hidden restroom, that is completely bright yellow. 2 thumbs up!

Amazing! ey have all sorts of dumplings for vegetarians, meat eaters and sea food lovers. I was glad that I could take my vegtarian friends there and they were super happy too.
The variety of drinks they offer is praise worthy. Its a small cosy place and one could get free spots during lunch time or early dinner hours.
One ends up spending around 25 €. If it were a tad bit cheaper, I would be their regular customer instead of visiting them once every 3 – 4 months.

Good food, great drinks, even greater service!
Our trip to Berlin last year was pretty much a culinary trip where we spent our days going from one great restaurant to another while doing some sightseeing in between. We were staying at Hotel Mani just a couple of blocks away from Yumcha Heroes, so upon reading some of the reviews we decided to try it for ourselves one night. We ended up coming here 3 nights in a row.
The first night we went to Yumcha Heroes we were craving for some late night dumplings, and Yumcha’s staff won us over immediately that night. We came in around 11:45 p.m. and although they were about to close (and there were no others guests anymore) we were still more than welcome to order whatever we wanted. We ended up eating some classic Shanghai dumplings (XLB), Baozi dumplings, and their White Chicken dumplings. The flavors were great, and the sizes weren’t too bad either.
We ended up coming back several nights in a row, usually after 10:30 p.m., for a late night snack. Besides their dumplings they have some great desserts and drinks on their menu; I really recommend getting a watermelon-​lychee juice with your meal.
But what makes this place great rather than good in my opinion is the staff. The waiting staff was friendly, and showed genuine interest in us. Maybe it was because we always went there late at night, and the restaurant was therefore quite empty at most occasions, but we had some good chats with the waiting staff and they made us feel very welcome. Being able to order dumplings around midnight and finish them without being rushed obviously contributed to this as well.
Additionally, I enjoy it when you can tell that the staff has had some influence on the identity of a place — whether that’s a restaurant or a store. This was definitely the case at Yumcha Heroes; musical preferences aside, it’s always nice to hear something else besides the really common radio channels (or songs). I was therefore pleasantly surprised to notice that the waiting staff had plugged in their IPod rather than turning on a radio channel, which resulted in Rick Ross playing in the background. While this is just a very minor detail of going somewhere to eat, it’s one of those little details that can really contribute to a better overal experience. We enjoyed it here; the service was truly great, and it’s a great place for some dumplings and drinks.
Next time we’re visiting Berlin we’re definitely coming back!

Extremely tasty, yet maybe a bit too pricey. Think 20 € per pers. incl. a drink to be fully satisfied… Will come back when I get a pay raise!

I came here on a recommendation from a co-​worker and was not disappointed. The place is small but exudes a coolness factor. Located a short walk from Rosenthaler Platz underground on a quiet street it’s easy to miss if you don’t walk far enough down the street. Just walk past the Salumi place and you’ll see it
I asked the waitress what amount of dumplings she recommended for 1 person. The waitress suggested I order 2 sets of dumplings so I tried the Prawn dumplings and the soup dumplings plus an order of edamame.
The dumplings come in servings of 4 and are accompanied by 3 dipping sauces: a soy sauce-​base one, a sweet one and a slightly spicier one.
The Prawn dumplings were very good and the shrimp was not overcooked or mushy. The soup dumplings were very good too, however, they were not very soupy. I would have preferred them with more broth inside the way they make them in New York’s Chinatown. But the minced pork filling was flavorful. Two orders was definitely enough as I was stuffed so I am glad I didn’t order more. They have a great selection of teas and juices here too.
The service was quick and the waitress was friendly. Turns out she was from California so that explains the better than average service. I can’t believe it took me this long to find this place. It ranks in my Top 10 and I will be coming back on my next work trip.

The only reason I did not give it five stars is that it is so expensive! In my experience, a big part of the appeal of dumplings is that they are affordable — at 1.50 Euro per dumpling, these are pricier than even those in London or New York! That said, I still went there and very much enjoyed my meal. The classic Shanghai soup dumplings are great, and unlike some other places, they did not stick to the bottom so all the soup leaked out:)

Endlich mal gute dumplings in Berlin. Hier gibt’s Klassiker und moderne Varianten, alle in sehr guter Qualität. Hinter der Glaswand kann man auch schön beim kochen zuschauen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und die Toilette ist auch mal was anderes ;)
Den Stern Abzug gibt es für die hohen Preise. 6 – 8 Euro für 4 Dumplings finde ich zu viel.
Sonst aber super.

The Xiaolongbao is really good. We ended up getting two orders with bac choi. The food & staff are great. They have a very interesting restroom (WC). It is in a hidden wall & the stalls are in a hidden wall as well. Very cool place to eat in Berlin.

Yumcha’s dumplings were quite tasty. We really enjoyed it overall. I’ve had better dumplings at some places in San Francisco and I’m not qualified to say what’s truly authentic or whatever, but either way, I expect to eat here a few more times while we’re in Berlin. I particularly liked the Shanghai (soup) dumplings and the White Chicken dumplings. Reservations recommended.

Als großer Fan von DimSum war ich sehr neugierig. Und kann, obschon die Preise in der Tat recht sportlich sind, yumcha heroes weiterempfehlen. Die Teigtasche fielen zwar flott auseinander (zu weich?), schmeckten aber sehr gut, die Suppe war ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung wirkte etwas überfordert, aber durchaus sympathisch. Das Ambiente ist so, wie man es von einem Laden in Mitte eben erwartet: kühl.

This restaurant is famous for they yummy dumplings. The rumour was correct: 5 star!
We tired the vegetarian, orange shrimp and beef (rind). So much flavour, perfectly cooked.
With this we drank four juices as they were hard not finish right away; DELICIOUS!

On top of this super cute and friendly staff, good outdoor tables and a very cool toilet!

Ein gehypter Laden und vom Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis eher teurer.
Ich war zweimal hier, mehr, weil es gerade in der Nähe war.
Man wird satt, wenn man sich drei Dumpling-​Gerichte bestellt — wenn man darauf schwört, dass das Sättegefühl früher oder später einsetzen wird.
Geschmacklich enorm gut und sehr schön serviert. Ohne angeben zu wollen sind es aber alles Dinge, die ich selbst hinbekomme (bin mit diesen Dingen aufgewachsen) und durch diesen Vergleich fand ich speziell den Preis bei den Vorspeisen (speziell das Pak Choi in Oyster Sauce) wirklich frech.

Found myself the only Asian face in the place outside of the wait staff. Only thing authentic was the brisk unfriendly service. Not worth it for the price. Also had major stomach issues from the meal afterwards. Found myself bemoaning a few culturally insulting things starting with the industrial sweet and sour sauces they served with the dumplings, and the photo of a real Cantonese Place on the wall which I sourly missed after this meal. If this is the level that Chinese good has come in Berlin, then it’s a nasty blow for my culture. Conclusion, Yumcha heroes is an «ethnic food experience» for non ethnic hipsters that are interested more in food photography then food. Pretty colors, definitely more important then flavor here. Chinese people avoid and save yourself 20 euros.

Auch ein Laden an dem ich etliche Male vorbeigekommen bin. Leider war es immer zu voll für einen kurzen Abstecher (besonders Abends ist es hier gut besucht).
Vergangene Woche, am frühen Nachmittag sind eine Freundin und ich jedoch geplant hier gelandet. Zu unserer Verwunderung war um diese Zeit nicht einmal viel los.
Schnell hatten wir Getränke und einen Snack bestellt.
Letzterer ließ ein bisschen auf sich warten, hat aber sehr gut geschmeckt und hat mir bewiesen, dass ich wiederkommen muss um noch weitere Kleinigkeiten von der Karte zu probieren.
Unser Highlight war übrigens ein Tee in dem sich eine Blume entfaltete.
Service war gut, das Team war nett.
Preise sind vielleicht etwas «hoch» hier und da, aber mittlerweile bin ich es ja fast schon gewöhnt ;-)

Mitlerweile hat sich der Touri-​Massenauflauf von Mitte in die Seitenstraßen verlagert. So verwundert es nicht, dass auch das Yumcha Heroes ein überlaufenes Restaurant ist, das von Massen an tripadvisor folgenden und Berlin guides in der Hand tragenden jungen Leuten regelrecht überrannt wird.
Um 12.30Uhr an einem Mittwoch war es schwer, für eine Person einen Platz zu finden. Mein Eckchen auf einer langen Bank stellte sich als reserviert heraus. Das hätte man vllt vor Aufnahme der Bestellung kommunizieren können. Denn mein Essen und die auf die Reservierung wartende Gruppe kam gleichzeitig und zack gab es ein Problem: Wo sollte man mich nun hinsetzen? Also wurde mir ein letzter, sehr beengter Tisch in der Mitte des Raumes zugewiesen. Umgezogen bin ich dann mit meinem Rucksack und den Tellern alleine. Hätte besser gelöst werden können. Das Personal ist zur Mittagszeit unterbesetzt und so wartet man gute 30 Minuten auf das Mittagsmenü.
Das Essen war top, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Würzig, gesckvoll, frisch. Aber das nächste Mal würde ich den Standort in der Dunckerstraße vorziehen. Da sitzt man ruhiger und wird nicht von seinem Platz verjagt.

Beeindruckend anders. Nette Bedienungen kredenzen außergewöhnlich gute Köstlichkeit der chinesischen Küche. Das Preis– Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
So macht auswärts essen Spaß.

While in Berlin I had Unilocal a place for great dim-​sum and came across this place. With the great number of review and four stars I was for sure I would find great food here. To my surprise I was very disappointed. I am a dim-​sum lover and this place did not meet my standard at all. The skin on the dumplings was way too thick and the meat was not the best quality. I am giving this place a three stars mainly for the presentation of the food and how cute the restaurant is but the food I would say about 2 stars max.

Netter Laden, der aber für mich zu sehr gehypt wird. Viele Touris. Das Essen ist lecker, für die Gegend jedoch nicht wirklich günstig. Berücksichtigt man die Portionsgrößen ist das Preis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis eher gehoben.

Wir waren wegen eines Konzertes zu gast in Berlin, das Yumcha haben wir aufgrund einer Empfehlung eines Freundes besucht. Bisher haben wir (aus Hamburg kommend) so eine Art asiatisches Essen noch nicht gekannt. Einfach super. Wir waren von der Qualität schwer begeistert. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert was bei der Größe des Ladens und offenbar auch wegen der Beliebtheit immer Sinn macht. Die Location ist schick eingerichtet, die kleine Toilette ist auch mal «etwas anderes». Due Musik die lief war nicht unser Geschmack, das ist aber sicher kein Kritikpunkt. Die Bedienung war nett und freundlich, hatte das Essen etwas untereinander vertauscht aber das war schnell zu klären. Wir waren das erste und sicher nichts das letzte Mal hier. Ich vergebe FÜNF Sterne sehr selten, dann muss es 100%ig perfekt sein.
Hier waren wir sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Super!

Sehr leckere Dim Sums, mein Favorit! Portionen sind in Ordnung, bei mir steht vor allem der Geschmack und der Genuss im Vordergrund. Top! Sehr klare Empfehlung!

Es ist sehr kleines Restaurant und wenn man am Freitagabend einen Tisch bekommen möchte, muss man auf jeden Fall rechtzeitig vorbestellen.
Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und zugleich sehr modern (besonders die Toilette ist stylisch -.^).
Der Service war nett und zügig am Platz.
Wir waren zu zweit und haben zusammen drei Dumpling-​Gerichte und einmal die Summer-​Rolls bestellt. Jeder von uns hatte vorweg eine Suppe. Danach waren wir wirklich satt und vor allem: glücklich! Denn es hat alles wunderbar geschmeckt!
Außerdem kann ich den Apfel-​Gurken-​Ingwer-​Saft mit Ginger Ale nur wärmstens empfehlen.
Kleines Highlight: Man kann den Köchen bei der Arbeit zusehen.

For the price and the image they sell I’d say MEH! Not bad but far from being awesome. Vegetarians have only one option. I ordered 8 dumplings, 4 steamed and 4 fried (waitress was kind of shocked I ordered steamed and fried. It was my 1^st time I wanted to try both and have some variety since Im vegetarian)
Half of my dumplings arrived with big holes. It was a a mess to eat. Flavor was ok. More like a mince of everything. Just ok dumplings. Sauces were very over powering (they offee three which they should get credit for. But better focus on one brilliant one).

Came in and the place was real busy but we were seated immediately. Staff was real friendly and spoke English. Menus also had English which was nice.
Ordered the black beef, lamb, and pork dumplings, all were very tasty. But my favorites were the Shanghai pork dumplings. Lots of flavor! Definitely recommended if you’re in the area!

This is without doubt the best chinese restaurant in berlin. It has mastered the chinese imbiss ambiance and has definately spent some money on the interior also one musn’t forget the nice waiters and waitresses which add to the great vibes of this restaurant. I also find that the location of a restaurant is essential to a meals atmosphere that is why I have to (again) pay my respect to Yumcha Heroes.
The food itself is superb and the dumplings are definately the speciality of the house ! My personal favorites are the «white chicken» dumplings they have the perfect blend of chicken and herbs !
This Restaurant is definately on the pricey side however if you appreciate good food the way I do then this is your go to asian «food palace».

Perfect little Joint. The service is good and the dumplings are amazing. The beat I’ve ever had!
Our table was right next to the electric door and it got really cold so that was a downer.
Booking a table is highly recommended!

Chinesische Dumplings der Extra-​Klasse in Hipster-​Atmosphäre mit offener Küche..

The ambience was fabulous — it was like stepping into Barbie’s playhouse, but instead of Barbies, there were Chinese chefs cooking up a storm making XLB.
I love the décor, the friendly service, but this is not your typical Shanghai dumpling joint. It must be a foreign concept around here, but these dumplings had barely any soup, a thick wrapper, and the meat was somewhat hard and compacted (not melt in your mouth like it should be).
I would however, recommend the watermelon lychee drink which was refreshing and something I have never tasted before.
Love this place for drinks with friends, but I can’t help but think it’s a bit overhyped and overpriced.

Sehr gute Dumplings. Wer allerdings etwas ganz spezielles probieren will, dam kann ich nur die Spareribs ans Herz legen. Mit die besten Spareribs, die man hier in Berlin bekommen kann.

Simply put, these are some of the best dumplings I have ever had, and I have had my share of Chinese dim sum, dumpling places from all over (aside from going to China itself).
This is not your ordinary fast food simple dumplings, this is not pot stickers people. This is the real mo-​fo deal.
The dumplings are first off, homemade, second, they are also large and big sized.
Vegetarian is filled with flavored noodles and chewy veggies that have great flavor. You will find also unique ones, instead of standard pork shu mai (which they have and are also big and delicious), such as a duck filled fig, Shanghai with broth inside, and a peculiar and delicious salmon wrap that is delicate, with delicious tasting fish nestled in a rice wrap with delicate seasoning.
Noodle salad (Fu Ling) is aromatic, delicate, bursting with fresh lime flavors melding with the small chicken pieces served on a nice simple piece of red cabbage leaf.
Get the mint and/​or honey ginger teas. They hit on a damp cold evening wonderfully.
Service here is also fantastic, in a city that has often curt/​rude and just flat out bad service often this place stands out like a ray of light.
Go earlier or at least make a reservation because it’s very popular as I discovered, even for showing up on a lazy weekday evening.

The dumplings are pretty good, but the servings are small. They always have a set menu for lunch special, and that was pretty good. They’re not traditional Chinese dim sum, but I was intrigued and enjoyed the flavours for what it was. You probably will not fill yourself up here unless you’re with friends, but the food is pretty good. It’s hip and trendy, and there are tons of booths. I ate here alone, but they were still really accommodating to my needs.
I ordered a dumpling set with the soup dumplings, which were delicious and one of my first forays into the soup dumpling world. I also ordered the winter dumplings which were rich and a bit sweet. To top off my dumpling set, it also came with a soup, which was pretty good. The menu is simple, mostly based around the dumplings/​dim sum. For a fast, quick lunch with good value, I’d go to Yumcha Heroes for the set menu. It’s a relatively light meal (I think only three or four come in a set,) but it’s affordable and has space for a lot of people, especially if youw ant to share. I didn’t order any alcohol with my meal, but I did order one of those blooming teas which looked beautiful in a high glass.

Hergekommen bin ich auf Raten meiner Mutter, da ich aus Londononer und Hamburger Chinesen die kleinen Hefebroetchen, gefuellt mit suessem Schweinefleisch schon kenne und ich bin verrueckt nach ihnen. Hier gibt es sie auch, leider nur eins, aber der HAMMER. Dazu gabs noch orange prawns und das pink lamb. Die Hefebroetchen sind unschlagbar, alles andere war ganz lecker, aber leider sehr weich und innen drinne waessrig, da kenn ich anderes. Die Geschmaecker sind allerdings außergewoehnlich und sehr lecker.
Komme gerne wieder her, wahrscheinlich aber hauptsaechlich wegen der HEFEBROETCHEN.

Solche Läden wie das «Yumcha Heroes» haben ja zur Zeit Konjunktur, man denke an ähnliche Läden gleich um die Ecke und in F’Hain.
Gemeinsam mit denen hat es auch einen gewissen Lotto-​Faktor was das Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis der georderten Gerichte angeht. Man kann für 5 Euro zwei kleine Hackbällchen plus Grünzeug erhalten, zum die Sommerrolle selber drehen, oder auch für 5 Euro vier große Dumplings bekommen. Von daher empfiehlt sich ein forscher Blick auf die Speisekarte.
Bestellt wurde dann letztlich eine größere Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten, hauptsächlich natürlich Dumplings.
Vorab hatte ich Roastbeef, welches an und für sich recht fein war, aber dermaßen in einer salzigen Sauce ertränkt wurde, dass man vom Rind kaum noch was geschmeckt hat und danach erstmal zwei Glas Wasser trinken musste.
Nachdem ich durch die homöopathische Größe der einen Vorspeise gewarnt war, hab ich auf Vorrat gleich mal drei Portionen Dumplings /​Dim-​Sun /​Wan Tans bestellt. Die Sorge war aber unbegründet, 9 Stück haben voll ausgereicht. Ich hab meine durchgängig gedämpft bestellt, und geschmeckt haben sie in Ordnung. Teils besser, teils eher fade bis strange. Das Lamm war richtig gut. Meine Cousine hat leider was falsches bekommen, was gar nicht geschmeckt hat. Schwesterchen hatte dann noch Germ-​Knödel mit Schoko Sauce und Vanillepudding — war ganz geil.
Insgesamt gibts solide drei Sterne. Das Essen passt, haut aber auch nicht übertrieben vom Hocker.

Restaurant klein, gepflegt, gemütlich.
Dumplings sind fantastisch, gut durchdacht und auf den Punkt gegart. Habe jetzt schon fast alle durch und schmecken nicht wie Einheitsbrei sonder sehr unterschiedlich. Deluxe Dumplings (Heilbutt, Jakobsmuschel) kann ich jedoch nicht empfehlen, mit 7,50 die teuersten Dumplings (aber ok für die Zutaten) nur haben diese Dumlings sehr fade geschmeckt für mich.
Toilette ist einen Besuch Wert, wer keine Angst vor der Farbe gelb hat ;)
Dumplings bisschen abkühlen lassen dann kann man sie auch besser essen, also bzw. diese halten besser zusammen.
Für mich der beste Dumplingladen für den Preis, leckeres Essen, schöné Atmosphäre und kaltes Bier.

Das Yumcha Heroes ist die Ausnahme der Regel, dass ich in keinen gehypten und gestylten Läden essen mag. Dabei ist es schon ziemlich «Mitte». Vielleicht transformier ich aber auch langsam zum Hipster (no offence).
Nachdem ich letztes Mal ewig auf die Black Beef Dumplings gewartet habe, sie dafür aber auch wirklich lecker waren, versuchte ich selbige heute noch mal als Mittagsmenü zum ultimativen Lunch check.
Nach zwei Minuten ist das Getränke da. Charitea Bio-​Maracuja-​Limonade mit Zutaten aus fairem Handel. Nicht zu süß. Das find ich gut.
Genau wie die Musik.
Nach 35 Minuten ist das Essen da. Not funny. Meine Mittagspause ist schon halb um und ich bekomme gerade erst mal den ersten Teller…
Aber… Gott… schmeckt das gut! Diese Dumplings und dann noch die Suppe! Black Beef mit Koriander und Fenchel und noch etwas, das ich nicht kenne, dass mich aber glücklich macht. Ich bin so… euphorisch, dass ich yumcha alles verzeihe: Ihr Hipstertum, die Bio-​Limo, die lange Wartezeit… egal! Aber bitte, bitte, kocht weiter so absolut fantastisch! Ich möchte hier nämlich immer und immer wieder essen!

Preise, für einen MINI Vorspeisen-​Salat 6,50 EURuro !? Wenn man satt
werden möchte auf jeden Fall wo anders hingehen.

un chinois-​asian-​fusion spécialisé en dumplings, ce qu’on appelle en France plutôt raviolis pékinois.
Bah mon vieux, ces trucs sont vraiment délicieux. La viande, la pâte, les herbes, les épices.
Par contre, il y a un autre type de ravioli qui n’est pas fait de la même pâte pasta, mais plutôt en pâte à pain, qui est moins bon. Et puis, les desserts sont pas fantastiques non plus.
La serveuse a une belle frange.
