You know how the advice goes… don’t grocery shop on an empty stomach?
It’s great advice. And if you are stopping in at Kaiser’s to do your shopping, you’re in luck… because Xuan (just inside the doors at the corner) is perfectly poised to sate your hunger and keep you from impulse buying 12 boxes of cookies. Stop in before you make your grocery run.
A small (seats for about 8) little Vietnamese Restaurant. I ordered the #25 curry, and was pleasantly surprised to be served something hot, fresh and fantastic. A huge plate of steamed veggies and rice in a wonderful sauce. For 5.50! A great deal, very filling.
You can also order sushi to go, or any of their dishes for take-​away. I enjoyed my impromptu lunch so much, I think I’ll always stop in when I have to do the boring chore of getting groceries!
