Weichbrodt’s

I do wish the vegetarian breakfast had offered anything else (and preferably vegan) than a HUGE platter of different cheeses and fresh fruit. I’ve never been a cheese fan and these days I shy aways from dairy products as much as possible (for animals, environmental and health reasons) and I did feel stuffed after so much cheese and I didn’t even eat a third of the platter for one.
Despite that it was a beautiful platter and the fruit was wonderful, so was the fresh bread, the juice and tea. The proprietor was really friendly and the service too. We had our breakfast outdoors on a fine summer morning — indoors was full with a large company of guests — and it was really lovely. We also had cakes for take-​away, but they were a bit on the dry side.
Conventiently situated a few hundred metres from our hotel, in a residential area, at a reasonably quiet street. I think it’s a place well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity, too bad we never got to have lunch there. Looking forward to that when in Berlin next time and perhaps there’ll be a decent vegan breakfast then too?

Seeehr liebevoll gestalteter Laden mit unglaublich leckeren, ausgewählten Kuchenangeboten und hervorragendem Kaffee.
Das muss man/​frau probiert haben… und geht dann immer wieder hin.
Der Standort ist etwas schwierig, aber was tut man nicht alles für einen solchen Genuss!
