Die Idee mit den kleinen Portionen ist super — so kann man alles gut probieren. Die Bedienungen war teils nicht sehr aufmerksam. Ich bekam die Bestellung des Nachbartisches, da die Zettel vertauscht wurden. Das Essen war lecker. Das Lokal ist sehr gut besucht, wenn man mit mehreren Leuten kommt unbedingt reservieren.

Super Konzept und selbst wenn es nicht unbedingt extrem günstig ist, lohnt sich der Preis auf jeden Fall. Alles sehr lecker und es macht einfach Spaß sich mit Freunden durch die Karte zu probieren.

Thailändische Tapas — ja das mussten wir ausprobieren. Das Restaurant von aussen relativ unscheinbar. Aber als wir am Sonnabend nachmittag um 14:00 Uhr eintraten war schon alles sehr voll. Das erleben wir um diese Uhrzeit in Berlin eher selten. Scheint also beliebt zu sein. Trotzdem schnell einen Platz gefunden. Es vergeht ja auch nur wenig Zeit bis das Essen kommt und man fertig ist. Der Durchsatz ist dementsprechend hoch und der Geräuschpegel entsprechend laut. Also nichts für romantische Stunden. Aber dafür ist es ja auch nicht gedacht. Das Essen war super lecker. Es hat uns alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten zu zweit 6 verschiedene Bowls + Reis. Für Normalesser absolut ausreichend. Die Bedienung ist etwas unkoordiniert, aber da haben wir heute mal drüber hinweggeschaut.

Essen: Top Preis/​Leistung für Portion und Qualität. Asiatische Gerichte ohne Emulgatoren und vor allem sehr frisch und voller exotischer Gewürze.
Ambiente: Es ist sehr eng gestellt und laut, also eine urbane Location ideal um mit Freunden mal etwas anders essen zu gehen. Für ein date empfehle ich es NICHT, denn es ist etwas zu laut um sich entspannt zu unterhalten. Man muss sich teilweise schon etwas lauter die Worte zurufen.

Service: Der Service ist mir bisher immer freundlich und zuverlässig begegnet.
In Anbretracht der Ladengröße, Menge der Menschen auf engem Raum und engen Wegen ist der Service immer noch recht zügig

Very nice place! Not so big but so cosy and comfy. You get a piece of paper with list and you mark all things you’d like to order. There’s special menu of small dishes to give you a chance of trying many different flavours. And they do taste the same like in their countries of origin. Infonesian gado gado and thai green curry are my favourites. Must try!

Perfect food and great atmosphere!
We ordered a very good dumpling soup & a reach papaya salad for a starter.
Main dishes followed the same level of taste– a great seasoned chicken with rice & an awesome beef stew with king mushrooms.
If I ever come around here again I would definitely eat here again.

Very trendy restaurant in Berlin. We went here for dinner and the restaurant was packed! We waited 5 minutes which was great since we were hungry! The restaurant ambiance is very nice. It is very dark with candle lit and has tons of small tables close to one another. It is a very trendy restaurant. The food was asian tapas and was more Thai influenced. They had papaya salad, yellow curry, chicken satay, crispy pork belly, and roasted duck. The food was very good! The one thing that I found odd about this restaurant is that they only played Drake songs or songs that had Drake in it. After Drake’s verse was done, they would end the song and play another song that had Drake. Don’t get me wrong, I like Drake songs. I just thought it was odd how they didn’t play out the whole track. Not sure if they do this every night or one of the workers were a fan of Drake. Anyhow I definitely recommend Transit!

Am Wochenende ist es zwar immer tierisch voll, aber das warten auf den Tisch lohnt sich. Wir haben zu Zweit mehrere kleine Gerichte bestellt und wir waren von allem begeistert. Die Satéspieße mit Erdnusssoße, sowie die «favourite duck» waren besonders gut.

War gestern Abend zum ersten Mal im Transit. Bin positiv überrascht! Kaum Wartezeit und Preis-​Leistungsmäßig auch in Ordnung! Einziger Minuspunkt eventuell die eng beieinander stehenenden Tische und nicht ganz so gut gelaunten Bedienungen. Aber kann ich auf alle Fälle empfehlen :-)

The food is amazing, and the service goes very fast. You have a kind of «tick box”-menu where you tick everything you want and you give it to the waiter when you’re ready.
I don’t like this place because of its acoustics, and on top of that, the music is so loud that you better have ear plugs with you and friends who like to enjoy their meal without any kind of verbal conversation.

Best meal I’ve had in Mitte. Very good crispy chicken/​pork belly/​fried fish/​salads.

Toll, ich kann es aber nicht bestätigen.
Das Personal zieht konstant n Gesicht, null Freundlichkeit und scheinbar genervt über jeden Gast der kommt.
Das Konzept wurde uns auch nicht erklärt, aber das haben wir schon selbst rausgefunden.
Ich hatte mir 3 tappas für je 3 Euro bestellt. Mein Freund ein Hauptgericht für 8 Euro. Dazu je 1 Tiger bier.
Ich habe dazu erwähnt das bei den 3 tappas Bitte alles ohne koriander sein soll.
…meine tellerchen kamen, natürlich mit koriander, aber wollte nicht länger warten, daher egal. Das Hauptgericht war denn nach weiteren 10 Minuten immer noch nicht in Sicht, daher musste ich mit dem essen schon beginnen. Nachdem ich aufgegessen hatte, mal freundlich nach dem Hauptgericht und den Getränken gefragt. Super unfreundlich wurde uns mitgeteilt,: es dauert halt noch.
Ok Getränke und Hauptgericht kamen, da wurde dann das koriander weggelassen, naja sollte umgekehrt sein, deswegen wurden dann noch 2 Stängel draufgeworfen.
Das essen fand ich an sich echt lecker, aber der Rest hat mich einfach sooooo genervt das ich echt keine Lust mehr habe wieder zu kommen

This place is very cool. I really enjoyed the idea of small bowls. That way we were able to try man different dishes and flavors and they are all very nice! My favorite was the curry with sweet potatoes, delicious! The drinks were also very good, I had the Moscow Mule. The atmosphere is cool and young, nice place to go for a fun night out with friends.

Went here for lunch with my co-​workers. The restaurant serves Asian tapas. The orders are very cheap (3 Euros each) and 3 dishes are enough for one person. They also have larger dishes on the menu if you are hungry. You can order a side of rice or noodles for 1 € more.
The outside deck is a nice place to sit if it is sunny out. I got the chicken satay, duck in pajamas and seasonal greens with a side of rice noodles. The satay was good with 3 chicken skewers and a nice helping of peanuty satay sauce. The greens consisted of Bok Choy and broccoli in a lite soy sauce. The duck in pajamas was my least favorite — having just returned from Beijing perhaps nothing will compare to the Peking duck I ate there. The duck was overcooked and a bit dry. The rice noodles were also pretty shabby so I’d recommend sticking with the rice.
A great and affordable place in Mitte. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town.

Cheap and delicious. Ordered 3 small plates (3 Euros each) per person and it was just the right amount. I would recommend 4 per person if you want to be full.
The flavors were a little bit too strong though. Most dishes could have used less salt or sauce.

The food was actually really good. But I’ve never meet waitresses so rude and unpolite. I don’t think I will return.

My favorite duck (no.15) was quite good, crunchy pork belly (no.13) was not really good and the sauce wasn’t that fit. No.5 chicken little is actually the skin not meat so don’t order it like me if you are looking for crispy chicken «meat.»

When it’s nearly midnight and you are starting to become hangry. This is definitely the place to go. We were Unilocaling around for 30 minutes around our hotel and this is what we found. A cute asian fusion restaurant. The place is next to a store called ‘who killed bambi’ so you can’t miss it even when you are not wearing your contacts at night ;) the restaurant itself had nice stools and awesome lights! The food was great and cheap, the cocktails weren’t that special and add nothing to the night but a higher bill in the end. Nice staff who I think were all Vietnamese, recognizing some of the shouting in the kitchen

We were looking for a nice place to eat after 11 PM. All the other places we tried were closed, even though it said on Unilocal they would not close until 1 AM. It says indonesian, but I guess it’s mostly fusion. We ordered phở and duck noodles, and had some appetizers. Cocktails were okay. Food tasted good, no long waits. Staff is very nice :)

This place deserves 5 stars for the food and service although the interior is nothing special.
If you want to try it you need to reserve a table in advance. It is a quite popular restaurant and it has very tight schedule. We got a table for 1,5 hour, which was more than enough for us as there was no long waiting time for the food.
The food was amazing! The concept is simple: you order from a variety of little dishes which cost 3,5 euro each. 3 – 5 dishes are enough depending on how hungry you are and what you order. We had 3 each which we all shared and we got really full. One can order also main dishes which are large portions but seems like no one really does that.
Quality and flavor wise the food was excellent! The only dish I didn’t like very much was duck wrapped in a little pancakes. The duck was a bit too fatty for my taste. One of my favorites was the fresh rolls and the chicken sticks with satay sauce.
The service was friendly and fast. Everyone spoke English and the menu was also available in English. The interior was simple and the chairs were like little wooden stools, a bit uncomfortable but totally worth it! Definitely recommended for a Berlin visit!

I love Transit — Delicious selection of plates of various Asian dishes, all only 3.50 euros. You can eat very cheaply or spent more — great for groups to share lots of dishes too. Cool trendy vibe yet affordable prices. Get there early as they can get very busy! Staff can be a little bit too cool but overall, the food speaks for itself! YUM!

oriental meets modernism, smart and sassy with the same attitude to match
Restaurant is smacked in the narrow road of Rosenthaler Str. the ambiance is energy-​inducing and bustling in the midst of aimless tourists and the strassebahn. From the outside it looks rather small and cozy, but don’t be fooled by the smart modern design of Transit. banquet tables in sets of 3 congest the area from the entrance to the open kitchen
the patio within the courtyard is a nice and leisurely place to settle, a questionable trade-​off to the non existent service that one receives.
tick off your selection on a piece of paper and wait for the waitress to come, if you are patient enough. They will come and grab the paper, without a greeting nor a smile. they won’t even bother to upsell you a cocktail or a drink. For the foodies who craves no alcohol power, good on you. but I am one who seeks a bloody kick in the early afternoon. I waved another waitress down to order my cocktail. Again, very dismissive and arrogant. Beautiful people, very sassy attitude.
Eats: Crispy Prawns with avocado dip, Summer Rolls, Catfish n’ red curry, salad with grilled squid… all left my taste buds dancing happily. Flushing down with a Transit Tai Cocktail made for a balanced berliner meal. I salute the bartender, his drinks are always on fleek and well executed. every time.
We asked for the check. The waitress did not come back for about 20 minutes. We asked again, and then she came back with the check with a big smile and said «Oh I totally forgot about you guys»
Would this count as a smile in the service industry? Nein.
Good time to go: When it is slow.
Bad time to go: don’t be a lemming and join the pretentious crowd on the weekends or the evenings. Overcrowded, loud and service is non-​existent. It will damper your vibe.
Would I come back again?: Only when I am starving and if my friends are craving a typical Mitte atmosphere

Me and my two girlfriends ate here last night. We ordered a mix of small dishes with chicken, fish and pork. Most of it was really nice if you considered the price level. Cool atmosphere. The risling wine was great. Would absolutely come again. Service was efficient.

Guter Laden — fast schon eine echte Institution. Alle Gerichte, die ich bisher hatte waren sehr lecker und mit 3 – 4 Schälchen + Reis ist man auch gut bedient und zufrieden. Preislich völlig in Ordnung.

Tolles asiatisches Restaurant! Aber ohne Reservierung muss man manchmal lange warten od. ganz schnell essen bevor die nächsten Gäste kommen.

Transit ist voll, es ist voller Tische die nah aneinander stehen — also darf man nicht dagegen haben, wenn die Nachbarn alles hören was man sagt. Der Geräuschpegel ist ohrenbetäubend laut — sehr ungemütlich & nicht entspannt. Die Deko mit dem Kerzenlicht und den Glaslampen an der Decke ist im Grunde sehr stylisch — Hipster.
Asiatische Tapas sind super und selbst das Saison Gemüse war lecker gewürzt. Viele kleine Teller um davon zu probieren — perfekt wenn man zwei oder mehr ist. Besonders empfehlenswert das gebeizte Rindfleisch!
Das Personal war schnell trotz vollem Laden und freundlich.

Das Transit in der Nähe des Rosenthaler Platzes ist ein super leckerer Tapas Laden mit asiatischen Spezialitäten. Ich mag dieses Restaurant sehr, nicht zuletzt auch wegen der Top Qualität des Essens und der Freundlichkeit der Bedienung. Auch wenn es dort fast immer voll ist gibt sich der Service Mühe, noch einen Platz zu finden.
Wir wurden schnell bedient und gegeben der vielen unterschiedlichen Gerichte trotzdem auch sehr schnell mit unserem bestellten Essen versorgt.
Kartenzahlung ist auch möglich :)

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker, allerdings ist der Laden einfach zu voll. Wenn man nicht die 1,5 Stunden einhält, die jedem zustehen, wird man auch schon mal mehr oder weniger rausgeworfen — das ist wirklich schade.
Die Gerichte sind und bleiben lecker. Die zahlreichen Alternativen für Vegetarier schmecken wirklich toll — vor allem der Tofu-​Spieß mit Erdnusssoße!

Bei aller liebe… Essen toll. Aber als 16 jährige Bedienung so pampig zu sein oder gar nicht zu grüßen zum wiederholten male, macht jedes essen ungenießbar

Nach all dem Trubel um dieses Restaurant wollten wir es auch endlich mal ausprobieren.
Nachdem ich im Vorfeld oft versucht habe, anzurufen, um einen Tisch zu reservieren und dabei kläglich gescheitert bin, hatte es dann irgendwann per Email doch noch geklappt, so dass wir von 20 – 21.30 Uhr in den Ableger nach Mitte gebeten wurden.
Der erste Eindruck war dann auch gleich: Wow, ist das eng und voll!
Der zweite: Gott, ist das laut!
Als ich mich dann ein bisschen an die Umgebung gewöhnt hatte, konnte ich in all der Dunkelheit doch noch die sehr einfache Einrichtung bestaunen, was mir persönlich sehr gut gefällt: Kahle Betonwände, große, runde, bunte Lampen und eine offene Küche passen eigentlich perfekt nach Mitte.
Nachdem wir unsere asiatischen Tapas angekreuzt hatten, ging auch alles sehr zügig und nach kurzer Wartezeit hatten wir auch gleichzeitig (Respekt!) alle Kleinigkeiten auf dem Tisch stehen. Von Ente mit Pflaumensoße über Haiwels bis zu frittierten Krabben war alles dabei und auch sehr lecker.
Der Service war okay, aber auch nicht Freundlichkeit übersprießend.
Fazit meinerseits: Wer in Mitte schnell und hip asiatisch essen will, ist hier genau richtig. Wer aber auf ein ruhiges asiatisches Abendessen aus ist und sich nicht über dem Essen anschreien will, sollte die Finger vom Transit lassen und lieber eines der zig anderen asiatischen Restaurants ausprobieren, die Berlin so zu bieten hat (auch die «Asiatische-​Tapas-​Variante» wird noch anderswo angeboten).

Transit ist ja ein sehr erfolgreiches Restaunrant und nachdem ich so vieles von diesem Lokal gehört habe, wollte ich unbedingt mal hin.
Wir sind zum Glück zur Mittagszeit hingegangen, als es relativ leer war.
Dementsprechen ging es auch sehr zügig und das Personal war freundlich.
3 Euro pro Tapasgericht und für größere Gerichte zahlt man 8 Euro. Wir entschlossen uns lieber für 3 Euro viele kleine Gerichte zu bestelllen, damit untereinander geteilt werden kann.
Nicht alle Gerichte haben geschmeckt, aber im Großen und Ganzen war es ein toller Besuch. Die Nachspreise ist auch sehr zu empfehlen!

The concept of this place is seriously fun– you sit, get a menu, get a little paper to mark what you want, give it to the waiter and wait until the yummy stuff are on the table
The staff are very nice and helpful but can be a bit snobbish sometimes, didn’t hurt my fun experience one bit though.
The menus are a bit hard to read and there are many things to choose from — the best option is to take a few small plates and share with some rice, for people with serious hunger there are also full sized dishes, even though 3 small portions and one portion of rice did a really good job.
I have ordered chicken and mushrooms in curry-​lemongrass, marinated beef and yellow curry with chicken and sweet potato — everything was delicious! Ate it all until the very last bite.
The place is also very cozy and could be a good place for intimate events with your significant other, or just a dinner date.
Very impressed.

If you like asian food, this is a fun restaurant! They serve it like it was tapas. and when you order, you tick on a list what you want to have. Don’t forget to order rice as an extra side order! And don’t forget to bring cash. they do not take credit card!

I love that it is kind of like a tapas-​style restaurant, where you can order small portions and try out a lot of different dishes. I appreciate that they don’t use MSG. I have eaten here twice and my favorite dishes are the «bathing beauty» steamed dumplings and the crispy pork belly. It was a bit on the pricier side, but nothing unusual given the area it is located in. I liked eating in the Hof seating area in summer. On our first visit here, the waitress was pretty rude, but the second time around we had someone nicer. Despite the price and the bad experience with the waitress, I would still probably go here again.

Le principe des «petits» bols est intéressant et permet de prendre différentes choses.

Das Essen war gut. Die Akustik jedoch grausam. Das Lokal war so voll und laut, dass man sich nur schreiend mit seinem Gegenüber unterhalten konnte. Der Service zeigte wenig Interesse.

YAMMI! Nach diesem Essen leckt man sich alle 10 Finger, so gut ist es.
Der Laden ist stylisch und fast schon ein wenig beengt, aber dennoch fühlt man sich wohl. Vorher zu reservieren lohnt sich, damit man auch wirklich ein Plätzchen bekommt.
Ich mag vor allem das Thai-​Tapas Konzept. So kann man mit Freunden wunderbar viele Köstlichkeiten bestellen, probieren und darüber reden. Das Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut stimmig.
Der Service ist freundlich, zwei Bedienungen mehr pro Schicht würden aber nicht schaden.
Und jetzt los, reservieren und genießen.

Il faut y aller au moins une fois le service est assez rapide, on y mange bien et l ambiance et décontracté, tout type de profil s y croise bobo alfer work, familial, et même des couples, un excellent endroit pour un premier rendez vous d ailleurs. prix allant de 3 euros pour les petit bol a 7 euros pour des assiettes bien garnie je te recommande particulièrement le nosi goreng épicé ! tu risques la Surprise sur le café peut être 2,50 quand t es de la province française tu pourrais crier au scandale mais pour une capitale européenne c est cadeau !
