People have been raving about this place on Facebook so naturally we had to try it out. It’s a 30 minute bike ride for us but completely worth it. Definitely go as early as you can. We got there just in time — I think around 6:30pm or so and he was just closing up but he stayed open for us. Bonus: REAL cutlery. I think this is an important point to make since every other wagon/outdoor type establishment I’ve been to serves with plastic cutlery which is a pain in the arse to eat fish & chips with. As for the quality of the food itself, perfect. The batter was light, crisp and buttery. The fish was tender. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Nothing soggy going on here — this is really great stuff. Try it, you’ll love it. We’ll be back.

The best fish and chips I have had in Germany. Fries were nice and light, nothing different than your would find many other places, but good. The fish was, however, amazing. I believe it was cod, but it was nice and light and buttery, very delicate and tasty. The batter was also super light, a tempura-ish coating. Really great. Tarter sauce was lighter/had more of a mayonnaise flavor to it, also very good. Good price, hopefully tons of people come and try it out, so they stay open for a long time.
