Storks is a group of businesses including a bar & bistro, a club, and a bed & breakfast/​apartments. This review pertains to the apartments specifically.
I’m an American traveling in Berlin; a friend of a friend knows the owner and arranged an apartment for me on a week’s notice, 35 euros a night for six nights.
I wasn’t hugely impressed when I arrived but went with it; after a night I’d decided to move out. As I understand it, I had the best of the available apartments. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke, was poorly ventilated, was badly in need of a broom, the (shared) bathroom was not suitably clean, the shower was not in good repair, and three of five lightbulbs in the unit were out.
Based on this experience, the Stork Bed & Breakfast /​apartments do not meet basic expectations for accommodation. I arranged an alternate place to stay and asked for my money back, receiving 50% refund.
I suggest you take your business elsewhere.
