Have to be honest, this place falls into the category of most Indian restaurants in Germany — the food is far too bland, at least for the British palate! I even made a point of asking the waiter that the Chicken Jalfrezi — which was advertised as «scharf» — should be hotter than they normally serve, but despite the friendly assurance it was much as expected. The onion bhajis were also just onion rings fried in batter rather than spicy balls of goodness. I know that you have to readjust expectations, but it’s disappointing that 98% of Indian restaurants play so safe — I’m not talking about Phal /Vindaloo levels of radioactivity, just a bit more spice!

So we were craving some yummy indian food and never been to the closest indian place to my house. Found it over Unilocal and was surprised by how yummy it was. Both the dish with chicken and the vegetarian one were very well spiced. The portions were really big and none of us were able to finish our food. The servers were nice but a little stressed and disorganized as soon as it got more crowded for dinner time.

I can’t say I’m an expert of Indian food, but I found this one good! The chicken was really tasty and the meat fresh and tender. I wouldn’t drive from the other side of the city to have dinner here, but if you’re living in neukölln is definitely a good choice.

It was o.k. but not the best indian restaurant in town. Not enough original spices –and I dont only mean spicy but all kinds of indian spices– just too mediocre and deepfried for my kind of taste. Didnt like the interieur design either, looks like german«hausfrau-wischtechnik”-Design. If youre hungry, like indian food and dont want to go anywhere else, then its alright, I guess.
