Spätkauf 44 is my jam! This place is located a short walk away from my place and is the place to go to stock up on all my beverages. They carry a pretty solid collection of beer — lots of Pilsner as well as various German and Czech specialities. I can also count on this place to be well-stocked in all the Club-Mate my heart might desire. The guy who(I assume) owns this place is a total sweetheart too — he’s now recognized that I’m a regular and is super kind and friendly when I go in. Best of all(and I know this is standard German, but I’m an American and novelty has not yet worn off…) they’re pretty much open all the time. So anytime I’m craving something, I know just where to head. Win.
