Hach, gutes italienisches Essen, was braucht man mehr?!

Lovely small restaurant. Cosy and a little romantic atmosphere. Food was really good. Menu has not many options but they have a section changes in time with new options. Got some friends regulars of the place and they seem to find new stuff. Service was really good, staff is very friendly.

TLDR — Awful service. Impolite and incompetent staff. Overpriced food. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I’m lost for words to describe the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Berlin after having tried several hundred restaurants. Almost everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Reservation We were given a table for 4 when I had made a reservation for 6 over email. When I went to the waitress, she appeared clueless and told us — «I just got here, I’ll fix this, give me some time». Then she proposed to move us to a place which clearly did not have a protection from rain. Rain forecast was 100% chance of rain on all weather stations that evening. When we told her that, she responded with«Yes, I know! I KNOW!», rather annoyed having me made that point. Eventually they joined a small table to ours.(It did rain cats and dogs that evening.) Drinks Drinks took awfully long time to arrive. Both the waitresses shrugged off the accountability by saying it wasn’t them who poured the drinks. They forgot drinks for 2 people. TWICE! They also brought us drinks we hadn’t ordered. Food All 6 of us went for their fixed menu that was a Berlin Restaurant Week special. Costs € 20 for 3 courses. They had 2 options for the menu. When asked if they could swap the first course of the menu 1 with the one in menu 2. We got a «NO!» even before we finished the question with a rigorous shake of the head, as if we had asked for something extra-ordinarily ridiculous. It was a FIXED menu, yet the first course took 45 minutes to arrive. It was the tiniest portion of Ceviche I’ve ever seen. It came with 3 sweet potato chips which were darker than they should have. But frankly we were starving so much that nobody complained. Mains took 45 more minutes. AGAIN! When asked to check when the food will arrive, we got a cold«It will arrive when it’s ready» response from the waitress. By this time 4 people came(without a reservation), ordered their drinks and food, had eaten and left. When I pointed that out, the waitress argued that they DIDNOT come after us. When we insisted that they did, she changed her argument to «They had ordered only pizzas and pastas». But we had ordered a bloody FIXED menu, an argument beyond her intellect, apparently. The mains was a Parsley Garganelli, asparagus, Tyrolean bacon, spring onions and cherry tomatoes. There were fewer pieces of Garganelli than 1⁄10 the number of minutes it took for them to bring the main course. The asparagus, spring onions and the cherry tomatoes were undercooked. The food looked as if was hurriedly slapped onto the plate with no finesse what so ever was dish that was supposed to delicate and part of a special menu. We don’t remember how long the desert took because by then we had all given up hopes. Some of us may have had more grey hair than when we sat down at the table though. The desert was the only decent thing we had that night. Service If you’re still reading this, you probably already know the service the was worst part of the whole experience. There was NOT A SINGLE apology for any of this. Just don’t bother with this place. There are several better restaurants 3 minutes walking from this place.

Even by Berlin standards the service here is pretty horrible. We were here for an hour and a half and finally got our second course ordering off a fixed menu. Instead of admitting there was a problem they decided to argue. The quality of food is okay but not for the price. We made a reservation in a clearly written email for 6 only to arrive and find a table for 4. Several other reservations had to find space inside because it rained. Keep in mind every forecast all day had said 100% chance of rain but these people showed up finding their reserved tables in unprotected places. After warning the people next to us that things were a bit slow, we started getting drinks we never ordered. I’m not sure if that last one was revenge or just a continuation of the earlier incompetence. The neighborhood has many options, it’s easy to find another place. Do yourself a favor, move on.

I went to this restaurant twice. The first time it was more or less ok and the pizza was good, so I came back with another friend. We ordered half liter of wine and they brought us 2 glasses. We asked them again to have the half liter and they brought it, and made us pay for the 2 glasses + the half liter. Ok. Pizza was fine, nothing to say about it. We ordered 2 different desserts, instead of what we ordered(a choco cake and a white chocolate mousse) they brought us something clearly made with soy milk and other random ingredients. At our request for explanations the guy brought us a panna cotta, that I don’t even like but I ate because he insisted. Of course we paid also for the 2 desserts. Cherry on the top: while we were still having the desserts they allowed everyone in the room to smoke without even asking if it was ok for us. When he noticed our faces he just said: oh, non smokers. I see. Well, thank you for seeing me, but it’s still horrible. In the end we paid more than 30 € each for a terrible dinner. Never again.

When I first found out that this spot was slated to become a pizza place, I was fairly indifferent. But later, when walking by and noticing that they could put vegan cheese on any of the pizzas, my feelings changed. So it was with high hopes that the fellow and I headed here last week to try it out. The inside is warm and cozy, and decorated in a minimalistic but welcoming style. We were the only diners, so we were seated right away, but shortly after, a flow of people started trickling in. The menu choices consist of standard pasta and pizza dishes… and a lot of the pizzas sounded good except they had meat on them, which means that even vegetarians are limited. We eventually settled on one margarita with vegan cheese and one mushroom pizza. I also ordered a beer but overall think the beer selection is kind of disappointing. Perhaps I should have gone with wine instead. Anyway, the food came out fast, which was a huge plus. And the pizzas? Well, they tasted good, but they weren’t amazing. Meanwhile, wood-fired ovens are generally awesome, but the crust was kind of lackluster. The fellow noted that the tomato sauce was kind of generic, as though he’d tasted it at other pizza places. My overall thoughts as a vegan? Nowhere near as good as Sfizy Veg, which is simply unparalleled. In fact, the price was a bit steep for a basic cheese pizza(since vegan cheese is unfortunately € 1 extra). However, it is good to have more options in my neighborhood. Not only that, but the atmosphere is inviting, and our service was good, so all in all, a solid three stars. Also worth noting: the desserts sounded amazing and totally not vegan, but maybe this place is just better for those who eat dairy…

Hi everyone, Would highly recommend this restaurant and bar. It has a real living room feel with such good atmosphere that you can’t leave. Excellent wine, pizza has a really thin base and crunchy crust fresh out of the wood ovenand don’t forget to ask for the desert specials(divine chocolate cake to die for). Music was fab and after 11.30 permission to smoke in one of the rooms. All this for a really good price. check it out
