Pretty impressed by the prices(esp compared to Brussels and Switzerland, which we visited two weeks back). The muesli selection was great as was the amazing amount of teas. Our bill was under 30 euros and we got breakfast for 4 ppl for a week, as well as snacks, fruits, etc. the store was clean, well organized and while the store lady who helped us didn’t speak English, she was very helpful in helping us find certain goods. Also, I heart the bread slicing machine! It was just so so awesome watching it work, and I could choose my slice too(skinny, medium, thick-cut). Very unlike the one-fits-all Belgium ones. I wonder if all slicers in German super markets work the way this one did at lidl? I know super touristy of me, but if we need to buy another loaf of bread during this week, I plan to film the bread cutting machine :)
