Geile Aussicht, ganz nettes Ambiente, aber unverschämte Preise für schlechtes Essen aus das man lange warten muss.
Überteuerte Getränke, die von unmotivierten Schlafmützen serviert werden.
Alles in Allem überbewertet.
Genau das richtige für den touristischen möchtegern Hipster.

One of the best spots we visited in Berlin! Rooftop bar with planters and live music.
Pro-​tip: the bar is the highest level of the parking garage for the mall. Take the elevator or escalator to p5 and then walk up the car ramp to the sixth level.
The bar covers the entire top level of the parking garage and has various booths for serving drinks. We came here on a chillier night during the week but can only imagine that on sunny days during the weekend all booths are open.
There was live music booked for the night so we paid 5 € instead of the usual 3 € cover charge. I like to support musicians and the musicians they booked for the venue were well worth the additional 2 €.
You can’t miss this spot when in Berlin. Really a must-​see and must-​experience.

Klunkerkranich. Was kann ich noch groß hinzufügen? Das Parkhaus finde ich nachts gruselig ;-) nein im Ernst. Super coole Location, war letztens wieder auf einem Geburtstag dort und hatte ganz vergessen wie schön es ist. Mittwoch Abend war die Anzahl an Gästen auch überschaubar und nicht überfüllt.
Die Getränkepreise sind definitiv nicht Neukölln like. Aber rooftop like. Man zahlt halt für das Ambiente mit.
Ein bisschen enttäuscht war ich trotzdem, man verlangte nämlich 3 € Eintritt für die DJs. An sich gar kein Problem, ich zahl gerne 3 € für DJs!
Aber halt nicht wenn sie gefühlt einfach nur Spotify Playlists laufen lassen. Das klingt jetzt gemein aber ich dachte an dem Abend zu 80% der DJ wäre garnicht da.
Trotzdem– super nette Bartender und in einer warmen Sommernacht eine Location die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte!

It was the first place I went to when I visited Berlin. Well, you have to pay an entrance fee (I think 3 €) but in return you get to enjoy a very lovely view.
My tip would be to arrive at 7, enjoy the sun, snap some pictures of the panorama while sunset, and have a few drinks before you go dancing somewhere else that night.
The atmosphere is nice, the people mostly international and the music is chill. It is a popular place so make sure you find a cozy spot where you can lean back and have a nice conversation.
If it gets a little cold outside you are allowed to casually light your cigarette inside :) A good place for a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Definitely worth a visit.

Went with my brother while i was visiting him in Berlin
This rooftop bar is on the roof of a mall and a parking lot (you access via the parking).
You have to pay an entrance fee and you get a stamp on your hand.
Depending on the hour you get there, you may or may not have to wait to get in. It gets very crowded and it’s not easy to find a table or a place to sit in.
The view is absolutely super. I was there in early September 2015 and the weather helped a lot. As it’s a rooftop, and it is quite high, you get an amazing view of Berlin because you are in Rathaus Neukoln (south/​south-​east of Berlin).
The price is the same as other bars in Berlin, and you can enjoy a variety of beers, wine and cocktails. My favorites being Weissbier and Aperol Spritz
As I said, it can get crowded in there and the typical people are between 20 and 30 years old, and you’ll see hipsters.
I have a problem with this place but also in a lot other places in Berlin: The wasps/​bees. There are a lot of wasps around you at the bar, because they have a lot of flowers and such. Be warned.

This may be one of my favorite places in Berlin while I was there during my short trip this year. Despite the fact that you have to play € 4 as an entrance fee, it’s totally worth the view of Berlin. Not only this, the atmosphere there is just hella fun. Total Berlin vibes.

One of my favorite spots in Berlin. Expect a queue of over an hour during peak times in the summer, but it is well worth it! Live music, art house movies, a great vibe, and even a community garden — this neukölln beach bar is a true gem.

The idea of this place is super cool.
However, paying € 4 for entrance is not. It’s location is great. You get a good view of the city.
Small tip here. Before 4 pm, its free to enter the place and even if you go there after 4 pm, just don’t go in. Hang around a same design, free to bring drinks from Kaufland at downstairs part of the bar.

It is hard to find this place but it is definitely worth searching! This roof top bar has a great view of Berlin and is perfect for a beer with friends or to chill alone. I really like all the plants around. In very hot and sunny days it can be too hot there, as only some areas are covered.

Dort oben auf der Dachterrasse, mitten im Parkhaus, ist die Aussicht sehr schön!
Es war auf die Schnelle für uns gar nicht so einfach zu finden, erlich gesagt.
Wir waren nun im November dort. es war leider sehr verregnet und überall waren große Pfützen.
Einen kleinen Teil der Anlage konnten wir so sehen und hatten den schönen Panorama Blick.
Insgesamt wirkt es dort wie eine Mischung aus dem withe trash und einem verwilderten Schrebergarten.
Als wir ein paar Meter durch die Pfützen stapften, war dort eine Art Pförtner Haus aus Holz.
Nun ja drei Euro Eintritt. und wir wussten nicht wie teuer dann noch die Getränke wären. alles nass und klamm. auch sehr, sehr viele Touristen. weiter ging für uns dann die Reise nicht.

Wow! Diese Aussicht! Das Erlebnis Klunkerkranich beginnt schon wenn man über das Parkhaus auf das Dach der Neukölln Arkaden steigt.
Der Trend Urban Gardening findet hier auch auf dem Dach statt.
Zusätzlich gibt es eine Bar die seit einiger Zeit auch winterfest ist und ein großes Dachterassen Areal.
Der Ausblick ist die 2 € Eintritt bereits wert!
Die Drinks hier sind hip und lecker! Auch die Events und Konzerte hier sind einen Besuch wert!
Insgesamt tolle Atmosphäre!

A quirky rooftop bar on top of a shopping arcade with great views over the city? Sure, that sounds like a great place to have some drinks and watch the sun set! Or so I thought… I tried in vain a couple of times but alas, the bar was never open (despite the opening hours on the sign saying it should be…) Instead I took in the view from the 5^th floor of the car park with around 20 other people who’d had the same idea.

Die Reise quer durch die Stadt wert– der Aussicht und des Ambiente wegen.
An sonnigen Samstagen und Sonntagen zieht es mich immer wieder gerne auf das Dach des Parkhauses in Neukölln. Den Blick über die Dächer der Stadt genieße ich und liebe es dabei das bunt gemischte Publikum zu beobachten. Hippe, junge, ältere Menschen, Familien, Kinder, Hunde, alles ist dabei. Wie Berlin nun einmal so ist.
Viele Holztische und Bänke stehen bereit und bei einem Feierabendbier, einem Federweißer, ner Fanta oder Kaffee kann man hier den Ausblick und die Kulisse genießen. Liebevoll hergerichtet mit Photobox, Plateau zum Sitzen, Paletten mit Pflanzen und Garten, dem Holzhaus zum drinnen sitzen, wenn der Wind zu sehr weht, ist der Klunkerkranich etwas ganz einmaliges.
Das mag ich an der Stadt: immer wieder gibt es etwas Neues zu entdecken, das man sich so in anderen Städten gar nicht vorstellen kann.

The drinks and food are somewhat expensive, and past a certain point in the evening there is a cover charge. It also closes pretty early (1 AM). However, the views from this rooftop bar are unparalleled. It’s probably more of a «special occasion» place, but the décor is cool recycled hipster chic, and it is simply an amazing experience to sit anywhere you want and look at the view. The inside is cool as well for when it gets cold. I would recommend it in the summer though. One of my favorite places in Berlin (and on certain days of the week there is a little flea market on the roof!) Absolutely a must-​see if you’re visiting.

Coole, lockere Location mit Bar. Je nach Uhrzeit kostet der richtige Zugang Eintritt, dann aber auch mit (Live-)Musik.
Der Ausblick über Berlin ist wirklich wunderschön! Der Zugang ist etwas Tricky, aber eigentlich auch ganz einfach wenn man weiß, wie man zum Parkhaus gelangt. Wer sich nicht an das einfache und rustikale stört, sollte dort hin!

A hidden gem and the perfect inner city getaway.
Self-​service keeps you walking around a bit to discover the breathtaking views and the cool crowd.
The food could be better but hey Berlin got so much other places for that.
On working days try to be there before 6 to avoid the queuing.

The atmosphere on the roof of Neukoelln Arcarden at Klunkerkranich is nice and perfect for a relaxed Sunday afternoon. Expect long queues on a saturday night and a big crowd in general. Takes a little longer to get drinks then. In general food and drinks are good and prices are alright. I recommend going on a nice summer day so you can also enjoy the view, which is the best!

Klunkerkranich est un bar situé dans le quartier de Neukölln, à Berlin. Son principal intérêt est d’être un bar «roof-​top «avec une magnifique vue sur la ville allemande.
Avant de vous parler de l’endroit, je vais déminer une question brulante: comment y aller? Parce que c’est tout sauf simple. Klunkerkranich est situé à proximité du centre commercial Neukölln Arcaden.
Quand vous faites face à l’entrée principale du centre commercial, allez sur votre droite et entrez par la porte avec la mention Fitness First (voir photo). Prenez l’ascenseur sur la gauche, allez au P4. En sortant, vous verrez une affiche portant le nom du bar, allez sur la gauche. Il s’agit du dernier étage du parking, suivez la voie normalement utilisée par les voitures, un virage en spirale. Vous y êtes ! Pour vous aider, un oiseau vert sur fond bleu balise le trajet (voir photo).
L’endroit est très sympathique. La vue est effectivement agréable et il y a pas mal de végétation sur la terrasse. C’est assez grand et on peut profiter de tables et bancs pour boire un verre à plusieurs… si vous trouvez de la place. Il y a également une salle avec une petite piste de danse.
Comme souvent à Berlin, c’est très bon marché. Il existe une grande variété de consommations. Les bières né dépassent pas 3,50 € mais il n’y a pas de pressions, ce qui constituait pour moi une petite déception. Le service est très agréable et l’ambiance est détendue.
Pour info, le bar est dépendant du temps, y aller sous la pluie n’a, à mon sens, pas grand intérêt. De plus, il fait assez froid sur Berlin, pensez donc à vous couvrir. Enfin, nous avons payé notre entrée au bar 3 € par personne. Toutefois, l’entrée né semble pas toujours payante.
Un endroit sympa, détendu, pas cher avec une belle vue sur la ville. A faire si on est de passage dans ce quartier très dynamique de la capitale allemande.

Je pensais avoir déjà posté un avis sur ce bar, mais à ma grande stupéfaction non !
C’est un des premier endroit où je suis allé à Berlin, et il en vaut le détour. En plein coeur de Neukölln et au dessus d’un centre commercial, le Klunkerkranich c’est juste LE rooftop où observer Berlin ! C’est beau, c’est calme et c’est un super endroit pour chiller, boire des bières, apprendre à danser le swing ou encore regarder un film en plein air.
J’ai cependant quelques réserves à émettre :
— La queue… Sérieusement c’est pas possible. Entre 1h et 2h de queue pour accéder au bar c’est un peu abusé, surtout que l’espace est très grand et qu’il n’y a jamais TROP de monde
— Le prix: autant je suis totalement d’accord pour payer 3 € en soirée (pour la musique, l’ambiance, toussa toussa), autant en plein milieu d’après midi pour chiller sur un transat ça me gonfle un peu.
— La communication: j’ai fait 1h de queue avec des amis à l’occasion du Kranichmarkt de début octobre, car nous voulions à tout prix voir le Flowmarket qui était annoncé sur l’évènement FB… et y’avait rien :)
Bref, malgrè ces quelques points négatifs, je reste néanmoins une grande fan de ce lieu où j’ai passé de très très bon moment :)

Very cool space! I heard about this rooftop beer garden through NYT travel right before my most recent trip to Berlin. I told my brother about it but he dismissed it as too hipster and wasn’t interested. So on the one day that I was out on my own I decided to stop there for a beer before heading back home. I definitely liked the space and the super laid back vibe. The view is just ok but drinking on a rooftop on a nice day with friends is always a pleasure. The one annoying aspect would be the cover charge (entrance fee) since there are so many great drinking spots in Berlin that don’t require a fee just to enter.

This place is just soo chill. Great to start off the night, great to go out to and have it be your main destination. Just an all around beautiful view and fun crowd.
Here are the instructions on how to get there… Take the elevator to P5 and walk up the ramp in the parking lot… The bar is essentially located at the top of the parking lot.

auf der Suche nach einem Ort an dem ich den womöglich letzten Sonnentag in diesem Jahr verbringen kann habe ich mich an einen Beitrag beim RBB erinnert… Klunkerkranich — Neukölln Arkaden… na denn mal los.
Im Aufzug treffe ich auf ein älteres Ehepaar die sich gerade darüber unterhalten das «das» im Stockwerk P5 ist. Also wenn «die» auch dahin wollen… dann bin ich auf das Publikum dort gespannt. P5 — angekommen geht es zu Fuß die letzte Rampe hoch. Auf dem obersten Deck eröffnet sich dann der Blick auf zusammengeschusterte Bretterbuden, Pflanzen und viele Biertische — und einen Blick über die Stadt der fesselt. Das Konzept, möglichst kein klassisches Konzept zu haben geht auf. Das Frühstücksangebot ist übersichtlich wird auf Papptellern serviert und alles kostet mit € 6,50– das Gleiche. Die Atmosphäre wirkt gekonnt ungezwungen und lädt zum chillen ein. Insgesamt 3 Stunden verweile ich hier — Ich lausche der Livemusik vom keyboard und scanne die Skyline, die Leute, die Skyline die Leute… am Ende gehe ich mit dem Gefühl entspannter zu sein, die Sonne ausreichend genossen und einen tollen Ort entdeckt zu haben.
Der Klunkerkranich ist weder ein Biergarten noch Frühstücksrestaurant.
5 Sterne gibt es dafür hier was anderes zu bieten — eine ausgewogene Mischung aus: Ungezwungenheit, Livemusik, Ambiente und Aussicht ohne Lärm und Abgasmief einer Großstadt.

Does it make me a hipster to give Klunkerkranich a 5? Maybe — you have to pay an entrance fee, even in the afternoon. Honestly, if you aren’t in the loop, it is very hard to find. During my trip to Europe, I would use Citymaps2go to get to an address in cached mode, but that obviously isn’t helpful here since it is on top of the mall. It wasn’t until I went inside the mall and used free wifi to go on Tripadvisor that I realized where to go. Once you get up to the bar, it is paradise. It was a surreal experience to watch a huge storm come in and rock the city center, while the sun blasted on the other side of the bar. Is this place full of hipsters? Yes. Is it kind of weird to charge a cover at 1pm on a Tuesday? Yes. However, that surreal view from the rooftop is a memory I will cherish forever.

Mixed feelings about klunkerkranich. So much potential, or a clear image of a what used to be ‘hidden’ gem.
It looks great, and green. Drinks are decently priced. Major drawback for us where the crowd it attracts. It lacks heterogeneity — just too many h&m hipster types. Nevertheless i can imagine that this is a perfect spot for lazy Sunday afternoon drinks with a group of friends. Music is nice as well, it seems there were or would be some (acoustic?) live music activities but we couldn’t hear them outside or they had already finished.
Much nicer than Deck 5, but could use some more shadow for the truly hot summer days (such as these weeks).
We might go back here when it’s less crowded, a bit colder and not a weekend day. This could change the rating (in either direction).
I guess none of this is Klunkerkranichs fault, and as soon as even more of these rooftop bars will open (which will happen), the crowd will likely move again, leaving klunkerkranich at peace :-).

War Samstag Abend in dieser tollen Rooftop Bar auf den Neukölln Arkaden. Erster Gedanke: Sieht aus wie die Bar 25 vor 10 Jahren. Der Ausblick auf die Stadt ist super toll, die Atmosphäre freundlich und entspannt. In einem liebevoll dekorierten Bretterverschlag bekommt man Getränke und ein DJ spielt eletronische Musik für eine artsy Crowd. War für unseren Geschmack ein bisschen retro, aber insgesamt eine feine Location, wenn man nicht allzu wild ein bisschen feiern möchte. Sicher auch für den Nachmittag empfehlenswert.

Über den Dächern von Neukölln:
DIE Location zum Entspannen. Panoramablick, Essen, Trinken, Chillen, Musik, Garten, Genuss.
Kein überkanditeltes Hipster-​Ding, sondern ein solider Dachbiergarten mit sehr gemischten Publikum.
Überfüllt ist der Laden auch nie, denn es wird gezählt, wie viele rein dürfen. Nachteil: Wer rein will, muss oft warten, bis wieder welche rauskommen. Vorteil: Entspannung bleibt erhalten, kein Gedränge.
Einer der tollsten Orte in Berlin! Echt!

Das mag ich an Berlin: Aus Langweile entsteht was tolles!
Unten ist ein Einkaufszentrum. In Neukölln. Ein einfaches Einkaufszentrum mit dem üblichen Abklatsch einer Einkaufstraße im nirgendwo — so langweilig und beliebig wie es sie sonst zu tausenden im Land gibt. Darüber ist ein Parkhaus. Ebenso öde und normal.
Aber auf dem obersten Parkdeck ist der Klunkerkranich — ein Open Air Dachgarten mit etwas Spielsand, etwas Kräutergarten, Biertischen, Küche und Getränken. Es ist etwas wilder, es ist etwas hipper, ohne anstrengend oder zu viel zu sein. Jeder kommt so wie er will. Die Styler genauso wie die Alternativen, die Familien mit Kindern wie die coolen Studenten — einfach ganz entspannt nebeneinander.
Eine tolle Aussicht über Berlin, ein entspanntes Ambiente, kleine Gerichte aus der Küche und klar, kalte Getränke — 1a!

Amazing place! Enjoy drinks or something to eat from the roof of a parking house. So much better use of the space than just parked cars.
Downside: Small entrance fee (3 €), If the weather is good you should expect a wait to get in, but that’s actually cool because they keep the amount of people at a reasonable level.

Wow, ein richtiges Juwel in Neukölln. Es verschlägt mich selten in die Gegend, aber der Klunkerkranich ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
Die Atmosphäre ist super chillig, die Leute sind alle sehr freundlich zueinander und die Preise absolut moderat. Wie eine kleine Oase im Rummel der Großstadt.
Der einzige Punkt Abzug kommt von der sehr langen Warteschlange um überhaupt reinzukommen. Wir haben eine gute ¾ Stunde gewartet und es war oben verhältnismäßig leer. Künstliche Verknappung? Wie dem auch sei, es war in jedem Fall ein toller Abend!

If someone would ask me to define summer in the city Klunkerkraninch would pop into my mind ! Been there a few times lately to avail of the early summer days in the city ! And it’s just the view, the people, the atmosphere and did I mention the amazing skyline VIEW over Berlin. It doesn’t matter if it’s night or day every time I am falling a bit in love with the city while listen to chilled tunes and having some drinks ! Still wanna sample the food they offer but haven’t had he chance yet but what I saw looks pretty tasty and think they do cater for vegans and hopefully gf too !

Sonnenanbeter und Freiluftfanatiker sind hier genauso richtig wie Freunde der Musik. Der Klunkerkranich auf dem Dach der Neukölln Arkaden ist eine typische Berliner Bar, die einefach anders ist als das was man kennt. Im 5. Stock ausgestiegen, noch eine Parkebene höher und schin befindet man sich im Klunkerkgarten. Urban Gardening at its finest. Gartenbesuch mit Ausblick ist bis 16 Uhr kostenlos, aber auch danach lohnt es sich immer hier vorbeizuschauen. Warum? Wegen des Blicks über ganz Berlin. Egal ob Innen, wo es immer Musik und oft auch live performed gibt oder außen, um im Sandkasten zu spielen oder den Sonnenuntergang über Berlin zu beobachten. Und das bei einem Getränk zu gar nicht mal so teuren Getränken. Ein Muss für Berlinbesucher die anschließend sagen wollen «oh my god Berlin is so amazing.»

Coole, alternative Bar mit Live-​Musik und EDM-​DJs auf einem Parkhaus in Neukölln. Kostet leider Eintritt (3 Euro), aber lohnt sich. Die Aussicht ist jedenfalls super und die Leute sehr angenehm!

A Berliner friend of mine told me to meet her at this funky rooftop bar and although finding my way up to it from the U-​Bahn was rather confusing, it was an incredibly cool place.
Got a beer and sat outside and watched the sunset while the DJ inside played some funky music. I am excited for it to warm up so I can take a trip back there and not have my hands become icicle once the sun is down. The sunset was incredible and you can see the entire city.
Even an amazing place to check out if only for the view! Although having a drink there makes the experience a little more fun.

Mein erster Besuch hier, aber definitiv nicht mein letzter. Weshalb dann nur 3*? Ich erkläre es.
Tino lud ein zum UYE, d.h. heiligen Kranich, dem höchsten Weihnachtsmarkt Berlins. Vom 5. Stockwerk des Parkhauses gelangten wir in fröhlicher Runde trotz Sturm und Regen zum vielgepriesenen Weihnaaa ääh was? Der angebliche Weihnachtsmarkt entpuppte sich als leeres Parkdeck mit ein paar leeren Ständen. Am Einlass wurden uns 3 € abgeknöpft, obwohl wir eindringlich darauf hinwiesen, wir seien von Unilocal und man würde sich auf uns freuen. Schön, nur leider wusste keiner von den Mitarbeitern etwas davon und so blieb es dann auch.
Ein einziges Zelt fanden wir schließlich vor, und so begaben wir uns dorthinein und probierten je nach Gusto u.a. Waffeln, Currywurst und Apfelpunsch. Dieser konnte wahlweise mit oder ohne Vodka bestellt werden. Mit kostete er 3 €. Not bad dachte ich, es schmeckte herrlich. Im weiteren Verlauf des Abends legte der Sturm und Regen noch kräftig zu, sodass Stefanie und ich uns sogar im Zelt zwischenzeitlich meinen Umbrella eh eh eh teilten. Inzwischen war mir wieder kalt und ich bestellte einen 2. Apfelpunsch, der auf sonderliche Weise in einer halben h um 0,5 € teuerer geworden war. Ach wie? Ach so! Vollkommener Markt nennt man sowas, glaube ich, waren doch inzwischen etliche Leutchen mehr hier oben eingetrudelt und dementsprechend natürlich auch die Nachfrage gestiegen. Ich redete auf die Kellnerin ein und bekam meinen Punsch zum alten Preis. Stefanie nutzte das schamlos aus und machte es ebenso. :D
Es war trotz alledem lustig und irgendwie gemütlich mit Maike, Julia, Helge, Tino und den 2 oben genannten. Und ich werde noch einmal kommen: im Sommer bei 30 °C. Dann glaube ich, wird man hier das richtige Kranichfeeling haben, ganz weit oben über den Dächern der Stadt. Und chillen.

Very nice place to have a wine or some beer with friends. If the weather is kind I recommend you to go during daytime there and enjoy the view and the wood furniture outside. On cold days I prefere going inside and have my wine with some club music. The drinks are good and fair priced.
BUT if you want to go inside you have to pay an entrance fee of 3 €.
The atmosphere is very… Berlin. Dunno how to describe it otherwise. You have mixed furtniture there. Everything looks selfcrafted and rough. It’s definitely not a chic cocktailbar but that’s ok because I hate them. When I was there a live DJ played some mixtape and it reminded me more of a club. I can’t give this place 5 stars because of
1.) The music was nice but a tiny bit too loud. I had tp yell at my friend who was sitting next to me so she could hear me
2.) Only one white wine. It was an ok one, the price was fair and yeah actually I am not allowed to complain but… yeah… you know it won’t hurt to have at least a choice between two you know.
3.) It’s a tiny adventure to get there to be honest. :D I had loads of fun to wander around that parking house with my friends but a few might be pissed by that.
I will definitly come back to this bar.

Abends bei schönen Sonnenuntergang, lockerer Atmosphäre und guten Preise perfekt zum abendlichen Entspannen. Aber auch zum Frühstücken bestens geeignet, war überrascht, wie liebevoll und reichhaltig das Frühstück serviert wurde.

Zugang durch den Fahrstuhl durch das Parkhaus der Neukölln-​Arkaden (Shopping-​Mall)
Oben im obersten Stockwerk erwartet einen eine Atmosphäre zwischen baccardi-​Beach und summer-​jaam an den Treptowers-​wer das noch kennt.
Allein die Wespen-​Plage war ein wenig nervig.
Für einen Sommer-​Absacker Open-​Air eine herrvorragender Ort mit schönen Menschen. Demnächst sicher auch auf Lonelyplanet

Meine nächste Lieblings-​Toplocation in Berlin in Neuköllner Arcaden. Für 3 EUR Eintitt hat man eine super Aussicht über Berlin, wirklich chillige Atmosphäre, normale und keine abgehobenen Preise, leckere Pizza, tolle Getränke…die man so kennt: lemonaid+, Bier, Säfte…Freigeister von Berlin in Klamotten mit einem britischen Touch chillen vor sich hin. Uhrige Einrichtung mit vielen Holzakzenten, Sofa im 80er Stil. ich komme gerne wieder.

Analog zum «Deck5» im Prenzlauer Berg hat sich hier eine ziemlich großzügige Strandbar breitgemacht, die sich auf dem Dach der Neuköllner Arcaden befindet und auch gut zu erreichen ist. In erster Linie fällt die Location natürlich durch das Strandimag auf und den fantastischen Ausblick auf Neukölln und die Umgebung, einschließlich die Skyline auf den Rest Berlins, was schon ein Erlebnis ist. Es gibt viele romantische Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und das Publikum ist eher gemischt, was ich als sehr angenehm empfand. Auch die Preise sind eher gemäßigt, was ich natürich bejahen kann. Außerdem wurde gute Musik aufgelegt und es werden köstliche Speisen serviert.
Man sieht: es ist also für alle Sinne gesorgt und damit hat der Klunkerkranich, dessen Namen ich mir auch nicht erklären kann^^, wirklich einen hohen Stellenwert in der Liste meiner bevorzugten Ausflugsziele in Berlin. ;o)

The newest — and possibly greatest — rooftop bar in Berlin.
Klunkerkranich is a community garden, bar, grill and live music venue built atop a parking garage. In a word, it’s glorious. The views are unparalleled. You have a nearly unobstructed view in all directions.
There is a ridiculous amount of space and seating available, but they are constrained in the number of people allowed in at any given time. If you don’t want to wait in line, I’d arrive before 7pm. They start charging 3 EUR for entry at 6pm anyways, so fortune favors the early arrivals.
Although simply finding the place is a challenge onto itself, I’ll save future visitors the hassle and confusion– go into the mall and take the lift up to the 5^th floor. Exit and walk out towards the back left of the garage. Eventually you’ll see the ramp for the roof which acts as the main entrance and bag check.
Would if I could hang out here every sunny summer afternoon!
