Kapitel Zwei. Deutsch-Sprachschule Berlin

I took an intensive online course. 3 hours per day, 4 days a week for 3 months and I really can't recommend them. The teacher was a good person but his teaching method was impractical, although the course was intensive, he did not take the time to evaluate the progress of none of us. He did not make evaluations or follow up on doubts. I really didn't like it at all. Despite my dissatisfaction I continued in the course because I had just arrived in Germany and needed to start studying. I was a fool not to change language schools in the first month.

I did 3 books in this school and I felt that I did not learn well (at all). At first I thought I was the one who didn't have what it took to learn the german, But then I realized that it was the teacher and his teaching method. I went to another language school, but I feel like I totally lost my money on this one.

I took a intensive course at this school: one month, 3 hours per day, 4 days a week, 222 €.
I must admit that I’ve been quickly disappointed by the teacher: only reading the book, no self made exercises, never making us practice in small groups, only asking the questions in the book one after each other.
But that’s only the beginning, because after 2 weeks, I’ve decided to stop, went to see the girl from the school to tell her why I stopped. She looked surprised. She asked me if I wanted to go with another teacher but at another time. It was impossible for me to be free at these hours. The month after, asked me if I wanted to integrate another lessons, but I had to travel, impossible for me.
So 3 month after, seeing I had time, I wanted to start again the full month. I wrote to them, asked them if they could do it for half the price, because I had to stop because their teacher was too bad. Answer: they wanted me to pay 132 € for 2 weeks.
I tried to find an agreement with them, they never answered to me.
So I will not recommend at all this school. I don’t say that all the teachers are bad, but if you have a bad one like me, react fast and ask to change. Or go to another school, should be a better advice.

Kapitel Zwei was very helpful for me on my recent move to Berlin! I took German courses for one month and loved it. The staff and teachers were extremely resourceful and made sure everyone was taken care of. They even went to the extent of helping me find a place to stay. I highly recommend Kapitel Zwei and will plan my return.
