It wasn’t amazing at all. The hot sauce covered any flavour and the potatoes just filled an otherwise empty sandwich. For sure it was cheap.

Chicken ist mein erklärtes Lieblingsgemüse. Es wächst in Kebab-Spießform und schmeckt auch gut mit Krautersoße. Ja, ja… da steht Gemüsedöner und dann ist es doch alles Hähnchen, das ist nicht okay. Hähnchen wachsen nicht auf Bäumen — aber sie schmecken halt so gut. Und hier schmeckt es wirklich besonders lecker. Netter Service. Lächelnde Bedienung. Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Die Zwiebeln hätten feiner geschnitten sein können, dass ist im Grunde aber auch mein einziger Kritikpunkt, sonst wars gut, sauber, günstig.

I am by no means a doner expert, but this place is seriously the tits. It’s fresh, the chicken isn’t weird/gnarly, the veggies they use aren’t old and the extra bit of cheese on top? Crazy! I live across the street from this place and for 5.50 euro, you can get a small bottled soda, an order of fries(hit or miss. Sometimes the fries are tasty but sometimes they can be kind of gross. Proceed with caution), and a perfectly sized chicken doner kebap with all the trimmings. Trimmings include regular salad, tomato and cucumber mix, and parsley and onion mix. On top of that, they add a sprinkling of cheese(!!!) which I’ve never seen anywhere else, and a squirt of lemon. For 5.50 I’d say this is a pretty good deal. I’ve seen the same menu deal elsewhere for cheaper but it doesn’t hit the quality of Gemuse Kebap. Again, I do live across the street so I’ve been here a few times(a few = 20+) and have never had a funky sandwich(I am a HUGE freak when it comes to food textures; if something is funky, I can’t eat it) but if someone can recommend a chicken doner that is BETTER than Gemuse Kebap on Hermanstrasse, let me know!!!

Sehr leckere Gemüse-Dürüm-Döner. Super freundlicher Service. Sauberes Bistro. Klasse. Wer kein Bock hat auf lange Schlange am Mehringdamm bei Mustafa sollte hier herkommen!
