While living in Pankow in 2012, we became regulars at AB. Their menu and the restaurant itself have not changed an iota since the DDR day we were told, but I think we tried it all and then retried most. I enjoyed anything with Rotkohl and loved how friendly the waitstaff became over our time their. When we failed to reserve for Easter Sunday, they welcomed us into the main dining room and served us our favorite meals anyway. Sauerbraten for me. Can hardly wait to go back.
