Esskultur

Ich war schon einige Male zur Lesung mit Essen. Es war jedesmal eine tolle Mischung. Es wird sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Kann ich nur empfehlen, wenn man einen entspannten Abend möchte.

Ich habe am Wochenende eine Veranstaltung «In 80 Tagen um die Welt» –Singapur bis Hongkong von Eßkultur besucht. Es war eine gelungene Mischung von alternativem Museumsbesuch, Jules Verne-​Lesung und asiatischem Abendessen. Lediglich die servierten Speisen konnten mit original asiatischer Küche nicht mithalten. Trotzdem hatte sich das Eßkultur-​Team mit der Gestaltung der Räumlichkeiten viel Mühe gemacht. Daher kann ich die nächsten Veranstaltungen nur weiter empfehlen, auch wenn laut Anbieter-​Homepage viel schon ausgebucht ist. Mal sehen, wann ich wieder vorbei schaue.

Café eßkultur located right inside Dahlem Museums, it’s not really big, but nice decorated and comfortable. After a couple hours admiring and enjoying the breathtaking Ethnologisches Museum, the Museum für Asiatische Kunst and etc., this is a great rest point to recharge yourself.
Eßkultur is on the ground floor, which offers coffee, juices and some cakes. If you are hungry than better go to the restaurant downstairs. They also seats open air, which allow you sit in the middle of the museums. The price is surprisingly reasonable, service is quite friendly as well, beside English and German, I also heard some of the staff speaking French.
The café itself is really close to one of the entrances of Dahlem museums. Which made it easy to find and it also close to the gifts/​books shop, very convenient if you want to buy some copies of the collection here exhibited. There are also some flyers about the different programs happening at the moment and some infos about the museums here, really helpful. It’s just right in front the café entrance, you won’t miss it

Abwechslungsreiche Küche mit gutem Mittagstisch. Es gibt täglich ein Gericht mit und eines ohne Fleisch.
Preise könnten manchmal, je nach Tagesgericht, günstiger sein, aber ich gehe immer wieder gerne hin und bin insgesamt zufrieden.
