I’m glad that such a place opened. This part of Pankow desperately needs it.
There’s nuthin’ but Späti’s open late, and that’s not my idea of a place to hang out, day or night.
But I’m still not sold on Diseño. The décor is fine, the music decent, but the drinks leave a bit to be desired. The pours for the whisky are pretty meager. And the selection is average.
I had a ginger tea the other day and it was terrible. Vilja Café does a muuuuuuch better ginger tea. This one was small, not hot and the ginger tasted old. I let it steep a while, but still not much flavor. And no honey. Just plain white sugar.
Will I go back? Yes. But waiting for more options.
