Pretty chillaxed co-working space for coders. Lots of desks, plenty of extra keyboards, even monitors you can usually borrow. If you go there for any length of time it’s easy to make friends and nice to have people of a similar mindset to grab lunch with. The space itself is decidedly organic and not flashy, the polar opposite of pricey co-working joints like Mindspace or Techspace. But the basics are covered: internet is fast, it’s low-stress, comfortably grungy and an easy walk to a bazillion restaurants, coffee places and two U-Bahn lines. The only odd thing: everyone who works there is named Alex. :D

Since a co-working space is often used by visitors or temporary guests to Berlin I am going to write this one in English. Most people probably know about coworking spaces by now where you can get a bit of office atmosphere when you actually don’t have an office. :) For work I am organizing an event that is called«#EurostaffConnect» and I organize these events through meetup. When we grew out of our office space I needed a new location for my «no fee-IT-Tech-Networking-Event» and that’s when I found co. up which is a GREAT address when planning low-budget events. They provide you with everything you need and the’re a really chilled out bunch. I enjoy it a lot to host my events there. So if you’re looking for an office-space-like place to get some work done or a meetup-(event)-location you should check these guys out. And if you’re on Unilocal because you love food — like me — then this area is heaven. The Oranienburger Str. and its closer neighbourhod(exactly the area where co. up is located) is the home of some of the finest restaurants in all of Berlin.
