Great food, kind and attentive service and easy going atmosphere. No frills just fun. Enjoy their amazing pancakes and a very to the point cappucino. Waiters speak mostly english but really try kindly to speak german aswel…

Leckeres Frühstück, wenn auch eigentlich zu teuer. Wir hatten Huevos Rancheros (10.50 eur) und Eggs Plate (auch um die 10 Eur). Es war echt lecker. hatten danach abernoch Hunger und haben noch Pancakes dazu bestellt (8.50). da waren wir dann bei knapp 30 Euro plus Getränke nochma zusätzlich.
Ich würde mir Brot und Salatbeilage noch dazu wünschen für den Preis.

BURGER — FREAKING AWESOME. I got the chili one because I love meat and so does my belly. This was satisfying to the max and made me go into a coma of tenderness.
STEAK EGGS — Got it rare because its animalistic and I am an animal. It was FREAKING delish.
Huevos Rancheros — Decent for Berlin.
Pancakes — I still like mine better… sorry guys.
I love cab slam and I think its a bit hyped. However, the food is delicious for the most part and it reminds me a bit of an upscale Denny’s.
Not a lot of vegetarian or vegan options so beware.

Ziemlich teuer und schlurfig, was man beides noch verschmerzen könnte, wenn das Essen top notch wäre. Ich hatte die Huevos Rancheros bestellt, die schon beim Ankommen drüber rochen. Nach einem kurzen Test des Tomatensalats war klar, dass sie schlecht waren. Die haben so richitg schön auf der Zunge geprickelt. Leider waren die nicht nur großzügig über den Teller verteilt sondern auch noch mit der Guacamole vermengt. Die Tortillas ließen sich auch mit größter Anstrengung nicht schneiden, schmeckten aber sowieso nach nichts, genau wie die Bohnen. Alles, was blieb, war lauwarmes Spiegelei. Der Teller ging mit einem entsprechenden Hinweis zurück, was der Bedienung nur ein gemurmeltes «Hm» entlockte. Die ließ sich dann nicht mehr blicken und saß dann auf einmal am Nachbartisch im Raucherpausenfeierabend, ohne sich vorher um die Rechnung zu kümmern. Wir also zum Tresen, den Fauxpas geschildert und einen «Preisnachlass» von 4 Euro bekommen, der uns auch noch als großzügig mit schlechtem Gewissen verkauft wurde. Und dem Hinweis, dass die Tomaten den ganzen Tag so rausgegangen wären und also ok sein müssten. Warme Spiegeleier bekomme ich zu Hause oder woanders günstiger und irgendwie ohne blöden Nachgeschmack.

Bin etwas überrascht von den schlechten Kritiken. Der Service war flott und freundlich, das Essen sehr gut. Werde wieder kommen.

Mein Lieblingsbrunchort! Kreative und immer leckere Speisen aus der modernen Kalifornischen Esskultur und mit guten Zutaten. Der Kaffee ist gut und die Bedienung nett (wenn auch manchmal etwas langsam… But let’s be real: «the service was friendly, attentive, and quick» said nobody in a Berlin restaurant ever). Wer deutsches/​europäisches Frühstück (Käse, Wurst, Aufstrich, Brot, Büffet) will ist hier falsch am Start. Ich gebe aber viel lieber mein Geld hier aus, wo sie sich bei den Speisen viel Mühe geben, anstatt in eins der hunderttausend Deutschen Brunchrestaurants, wo sie 0815-​Käse und kaltes Brot auf einen Teller werfen. Hier bekomme ich Speisen, die ich mir zu Hause nicht (besser) machen könnte. Und hier ist nicht nur der Brunch lecker, auch ist es zum Mittag und Abendessen zu empfehlen! Und am besten nach 11:30 bzw. mit mehr als 4 Leuten vorher reservieren.

Whatever might annoy about hipster Neukölln, it has to be said that the Huevos Rancheros are really good here, and available all day. The tortillas are homemade and the food quality is consistently good.

Solid breakfast and very good service! I tried some mexican breakfast and it was good. The Müsli was a bit too small as a full meal. In general a nice place with great service. Enjoyed it!

Geez, I really don’t like writing bad reviews, but I think for this one it has to be done. Waited about 10 – 15 minutes after being seated just to get the order taken, not too much of a problem. Out of juice that we ordered, ordered Americano and seltzer water. Americano came 10 – 15 minutes later, and was waaaaay too strong, seltzer water didn’t come at all. About 45 minutes to an hour later, pancakes came for the gf, French toast came for me. Both looked amazing. Pancakes were undercooked, French toast was extremely dry. Didn’t finish either. Got tired of waiting for check, walked up to counter to get check. Dirty looks from staff. Was charged for not only 2 juices that didn’t come, but an extra one that was thrown on there for some reason. Got those taken off bill, paid and got the hell outta there. Go to Chipps for breakfast instead, I love small businesses, but this one has a lot of work to do.

We had huevos rancheros and pancakes. The huevos were tasty, although not very realistic (at least if they are supposed to be Californian). You get an average portion of eggs and black beans on the top of deep fried tortillas. The guacamole was by far the best part. Having deep fried tortillas definitely threw me off. They were hard and rubbery, and covered in rubbery cheese. Aside from being hard to cut, they didn’t add anything to the dish.
The über pancakes felt more like birthday cake in the form of pancakes. At most, a caricature of American pancakes. They were super sweet, especially with the candied nuts. They also replaced Syrup with Honey. A practice that is quite common in Europe but, again, very disappointing for a place supposedly American.
I really enjoyed that they had real pepper sauces: Tapatío and Habanero sauce. Really nice.
Prices a little high. Service quite slow. No cards, only cash. Not even debit. Why?!

I mean… you can do it. If you have to. If you want to. If you are rich, or are used to rude servers ignoring you, or don’t know what a corn tortilla is meant to taste like. Etc.
We went in on Wednesday, 26.8.15 around midday and the female person behind the bar was conversing with a male customer sat at the bar. We said hello upon entering (as you do) and she glanced at us (having heard us greet her) and turned, wordless, back to her conversation. We stood another couple of seconds, me with my mouth open, I’m sure, and my companion, who was more hungry than anything, waiting for the punch line. Nope, turns out she was serious about letting us stand there like fools while she went on with her chat. We began to help ourselves to menus, looking up at the «service» every once in a while, to see if it was OK that we were rummaging around in her work station, but nothing. We seated ourselves basically directly in front of her, at the inside table nearest the door (it was a warm day but heavy in the middle of wasp season).
A few minutes later, a young man went ambling around the premises and happened coincidentally to notice us with our upturned faces, came and took our order. The drinks and food came out in an acceptable amount of time (although, the place had about four tables at that point and we were not in a hurry, but the drinks could probably have come much quicker if they’d felt like it). I liked the soy latte. My «huevos rancheros» was a joke. a) that’s not how you do a tortilla, b) a Mexican-​inspired dish should have any single thing approaching Mexican-​inspired seasoning in it. My companion enjoyed his portobello burger and the hand-​cut fries. The prices for the drinks were exorbitant to say the least. I ordered an Americano at the end of the meal which was truly horrendous (it’s not a difficult drink to make, but if you fck up the steps, it’s just a bitter, watery mess, which this was). The female person traipsed arrogantly around during our meal, she was as rude and dismissive to everyone else as she was to us. Undoing her hair and putting it back up, changing the music, and socializing appeared to be her main priorities. We seemed to be the only table served by the young man, who appeared to be in more of a barista role. We gave a decent tip at the end of our meal, at least a couple Euro more than what most servers would have gotten for THAT service in Berlin. The young man – while at least marginally less hostile than the girl – didn’t so much as mumble a «thanks».
Nope, nope, nope, nope. The first and absolutely the last time.

A friend and I arrived at 1:45pm, was seated after a 15 minute wait. Didn’t receive our drink orders until 2:45pm, actually an entire hour later, while we watched as 4 other tables seated after us received not only our drink orders but also their food orders as well. We didn’t receive our food until 3:15pm, and it was cold. Totally unacceptable service. Not to mention my friend was trying to flag a waiter down to change her order, but after being ignored repeatedly got up to grab one and was snapped at by a waitress who told her «You can’t go into the kitchen.» Obviously, as if we are that dumb. As a Californian I am embarrassed that this is the way we are represented in another country, especially since their menu (which I will give to them, is very well written) preaches of «No hoity, toitys allowed». I would give zero stars, but the one I am forced to give is for the waiter who apologetically gave us free coffee to try and make up for the wait. Would maybe suggest getting your sh*t together? Such as numbering your tables so that your waiters aren’t wandering with food, asking customers if this is what they ordered.

Good food! Try the eggs Benedict, you won’t be disappointed. Beware! Cash only. The waitress was rude, she never checked up on us, and we had to go to the front and ask for the check because no one ever came by. It was really annoying because she was being much more attentive to the tables around us. Maybe the waitress didn’t like Americans? Not sure.

Die Gerichte sind schon (für Berlin) eher ausgefallen, was aus der mexikanisch/​kalifornischen Richtung gibt es ja eher weniger. Qualität ist definitiv auch gut (z.B. Bio Eier) und es schmeckt! Ich kann auch die Torten sehr empfehlen.
Die Preise sind leider nicht ganz angemessen und werden auch stetig teurer. Auf die Bedienung kann man zu vollen Zeiten schon mal länger warten und Kreditkarten werden nicht akzeptiert, was etwas umständlich ist.

My son took me here the morning after I arrived in Berlin. I’m staying at The Circus so it took us a train and a bus, plus short walk, to get there which was fun and an adventure! So worth it! We shared the amazing French Toast with bacon, and each had an egg dish. I loved the potatoes, which I cannot seem to find anywhere here for breakfast but I am a major spud fan! I had over easy eggs with ½ potatoes and ½ mushroom and everything was wonderful including the Americano coffee. I can’t wait to go back before I leave. You get a large plate of food and I literally did not eat again until dinner. If it’s slower it’s because it does not have a lot of staff, but I’m on vacation so I don’t really care!!!

Kleines Update zum Cabslam mal wieder. Dieses Mal war ich zum Abendessen dort, weil ich mal wieder total Lust auf Burger hatte. Und leider muss ich sagen, dass sowohl Essen als auch Service mit jedem Besuch mehr nachlassen.
Beim Reinkommen wurden wir nicht beachtet, geschweige denn begrüßt (und der Laden war wirklich nicht voll), nach 15 Minuten an unserem Tisch hatten wir immer noch keine Karten, Bzw. es war noch niemand vorbeigekommen. Wir haben uns dann selber Karten organisiert.
Unsere Getränke kamen 10 Minuten nach unserer Vorspeise und Besteck bekamen wir gar nicht.
Die Mac’n’Cheese-Balls waren in der Tat fettig gut, so wie es sein muss. Der Burger allerdings war leider überhaupt nicht lecker, das Brötchen war hart und das Fleisch war komplett durchgebraten, obwohl ich Medium Rare bestellt hatte.
Inzwischen gibt es wirklich Läden, die weitaus bessere Qualität bieten und wo man sich auch wohl fühlt.
Nach mehreren Versuchen kommen wir leider wirklich nicht wieder.

Puh. naja. Das Cabslam ist ein typisches Beispiel für die momentan Neukölln bevölkernden Restaurants. Die Einrichtung irgendwo zwischen schick und abgewrackt, aber mit zu wenig DIY Skills, um charmant zu sein. Die Bedienung spricht, dem Klientel entsprechend, nur englisch, was dem ganzen aber einen authentischen Touch gibt.
Das Essen war in Ordnung (vor hatten zwei mal den Burger mit Guacamole und Bacon, dazu einmal die Pommes und einmal die Tempura Gemüse) aber nicht toll. Auf dem Burger zu wenig schmackhafte Sauce (die Guacamole war nicht gut gewürzt) und am Gemüse viel zu viel Tempura Teig, dazu vor fett triefend. Die Pommes dafür gut und es gab, wie sonst leider selten in Deutschland, unbegrenzt Tabwater for free. Mein Apfel-​Ingwer-​Karotte Saft war sehr lecker, aber mit 3,50 Euro für 0,3 auch nicht nicht günstig.
Insgesamt zu hohe Preise für Burger, die es besser und deutlich günstiger, dafür dann aber sogar in Neuland Qualität, in Friedrichshain gibt. Aber das scheint der Preis zu sein, den man momentan dafür zahlt, Abends in der sich rapide verhipsternden Neuköllner Restaurantszene unterwegs zu sein.
Ps: die Musik dürfte gerne ein bisschen leiser und weniger speziell sein.
(Warum fühle ich mich so spießig?)

Solides Hipsterrestaurant mit Burgern und anderen Diner-​Style Gerichten. Das Ambiente ist Neuköllner-​0815, die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und sprach Englisch. Der Burger war lecker. Großes Plus gegenüber den zahlreichen Burger Imbissen: Man kann den Burger gemütlich im Sitzen genießen statt drängelig auf dem Gehweg oder an zu kleinen Imbisstischen. Und es steht auch nicht mit Arroganz auf der Karte vorgeschrieben, dass man doch bitte wenigstens versuchen sollte, den Burger mit den Händen zu essen.
Fazit: Kann man mal machen, um in geselliger Runde Burger zu essen.

My friend and I are from New York, only staying in Berlin a few days and our last afternoon we decided to have brunch here. Despite the ok reviews, I still wanted to check it out because we were living in Neukölln and this place was really close. Both of us were amazed at how good the food was. We ordered a veggie and egg biscuit sandwich (which was only 3.90), blueberry pancakes, and huevos rancheros. Everything was perfect and tasted better than expected. The sandwich was super yummy and really big, the huevos rancheros was just as good as we’d get in a lower east side brunch, and the pancakes were more than delicious, perfect texture and taste. We ordered two mimosas that complimented everything. We felt like we were home. The service was just fine as well, didn’t have to wait to order and didn’t wait long for our food. Our waitress was really nice as well.

Wir sind am Sonntag früh kurz nach 10 Uhr zum Frühstück eingekehrt. Wir wollten unbedingt mal wieder American Breakfast. Das Ambiente ist erwartungsgemäß. Bewusst nicht renoviert, aber genügend gemacht, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Es wirkt ein wenig wie ein altes 50er Jahre Diner im Mittleren Westen. Cool :)
Die Karte sah schon vielversprechend und angenehm übersichtlich aus. Wir entschieden uns für Cappuccino und die Tellerfrühstücke Eggs Benedict und 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns mit Mini-​pancakes. Der Service war wirklich aufmerksam, freundlich und hat immer nett gelächelt. So mögen wir das!
Die Eier bei den Eggs Benedict waren gut gemacht und mit einer Scheibe gebratenem Schinken mit Minispargel auf einem Vollkorn-​Toastie angerichtet. Einer kleiner Salat und gebratene Kartoffelwürfel dazu und fertig. Es war ok, aber irgendwie nicht umwerfend. Das andere Frühstück mit 2 Eiern, Bacon und hashbrowns (Rösti?) war echt nicht so gut. Die Eier waren unterschiedlich gekocht und kaum noch mit zerlaufendem Eigelb (war der Wunsch). Die Kartoffeln beim Rösti waren breiartig und viel zu feucht. Klarer handwerklicher Fehler! Die Pancakes waren gut und der Bacon auch ok.
Alles in allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt, nur vom Essen haben wir uns mehr erwartet. Ich finde da könnte die Küche noch ein wenig an den Gerichten feilen. Wie gesagt die Karte, das Konzept sind gut, nur noch das Essen verbessern — dann ist es auch die Preise wert. Der Kaffee war gut :)

Reservieren lohnt sich, vor allem am Wochenende. Meine Freundin und ich mussten allerdings nicht lange auf einen Tisch warten. Dafür aber auf unser Essen… Das kann vorkommen, und wurde auch prompt mit Gratis-​Cookie (aus Erdnussbutter, sehr lecker) und –Apfelschorle entschuldigt.
Für das Essen und das Ambiente gehen beide Daumen hoch. Wer ist in den kälteren Tagen nicht zugig mag, sollte darauf achten, einen Tisch in weiter ferne von der Eingangstür zu finden.

A very overpriced diner. And I quite like diners but there is a limit to how much you can charge for burned oil saturated whatever. The food at Cabslam «looks» great but somehow they don’t really notice how it tastes. The bloody marry is great. Get one of those to forget about the food after you eat. I wish all these restaurants popping up from American’s would learn that the price of your kitchen doesn’t always justify the price of the food around here.
I give them one extra star for having nice staff that don’t worship the customer. The only thing worse then American owned restaurants in Neukölln are American customers that want all service staff to act like Barbie and Ken dolls.

Gutes Bier, die Burger waren für meinen Geschmack etwas zu fettig (ich hatte den Eindruck, die Buns waren in der fettigen Pfanne aufgewärmt und hatten sich mit Fett vollgesogen), aber trotzdem gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aber nicht immer effizient.
«Hipster-​Laden» trifft es ganz gut.
Insgesamt ein netter Laden, kann man wieder hingehen.

Fangen wir mit dem Positivem an: nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Ansonsten schneidet dieses Restaurant beim Frühstück wenig gut ab: Huevos Rancheros (Corn Tortilla with Egg, Black Bean) und Egg Plate (Egg with Turkey and Hash Browns) waren gut, aber für je 10 Euro (mehr als auf der Homepage angegeben — Sonntagspreise?) sehr überteuert. Mit Milchkaffe und Tee haben knapp 30 Euro den Besitzer gewechselt. Zu viel meines Erachtens. Aber das Konzept scheint zu funktionieren… großer Andrang.

Awesome American style breakfast offerings for a good price! The restaurant is small and hard to find (there is no sign on the building) but the interior is nice enough and it is good for getting together with friends.
They serve typical American West Coast breakfasts like fluffy pancakes, steak & eggs, eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, etc. Prices are good considering the fairly large portions and that it is a specialty type of place. They have a full drink menu including my personal favorite breakfast cocktail: mimosas!
The service was a little slow (I think there were miscommunications between the servers and the bar) but very friendly and they let us sit down before our entire group was present.
Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be returning the next time I get a craving for foods from home!

Hipster-​Lokal in Neukölln, moderne Deko, coole Musik, außerordentlicher Humor, gute Brunches, ziemlich höhe Preise (prenzlauerbergig).
Zu empfehlen sind die Eierplatte (die Benedikteier waren sehr geschmackvoll) und die leckeren Pancakes! Beste Pancakes ever (na gut, ich war noch nie so oft in Nordamerikanische/​Australische Restaurants, aber trotzdem!). Die Variante mit Blaubeeren, gesalzenen und gegrillten Mandeln + Ahornsyrup war einfach traumhaft.
Bin schon zwei mal hin, das zweite Mal waren die Eier jedoch etwas kalt geworden, bevor uns die Platte gebracht wurden… schade.
Die Preise sind meines Erachtens leider leicht zu hoch: 10,00 Euro für die Benedikteier und 7,90 Euro für die Pancakes. Die Gerichte sind allerdings reichlich und keine Frage, es gibt genug zu essen, insbesondere mit den Pancakes!

The food is great!!!
First I must say, I read some of the 1 – 2 star reviews and after dining here for brunch I think people just like to complain about anything and everything! What is the problem?!? Clearly, the place is busy… if you don’t like to wait make a reservation! Just pick up the phone.
The food did a take a while to get out, but I will say that I didn’t realize if it was 15 mins or 45 mins, because I was enjoying my company. Not staring at my wristwatch. Enjoy your drinks, they have really good ones. I had the Cabslammed Mary, which was awesome. Perfectly spicy and it comes with a bacon garnish.
We enjoyed the French Toast (delicious!), Eggs Benedict (great!), and the eggs Florentine (Super!!). The food was worth the wait.
The staff was fine as well. They did seem to be a bit overwhelmed, but friendly!!! Overall, I enjoyed it.
My only complaint is that I think it is a bit overpriced for the area! There is nothing else around. It isn’t Mitte!

Das Ambiente entspricht einer leicht modernisierten Eckkneipe. Ganz nett. Zum Essen: Hatte den Chilli Cheeseburger mit Veggie Tempura. Der Burger wird mit idealen Buns serviert. Kross und dennoch weich genug. Das Fleisch ist passend gewürzt und von sehr guter Qualität. Die Sauce passt auch und es wird hier ein sehr guter Burger angeboten. Toll! Das besondere hier ist das Tempura. Jegliches frittiertes Gemüse ist dabei und wirkt nicht zu fettig. Einziges Manko und deswegen 4 Sterne: Der Preis. Knapp 9 € sind auf jeden Fall noch ok, könnte aber auch etwas günstiger sein, da der Burger mit 180 g Fleisch nicht so üppig ausfällt. Geschmacklich top und zu empfehlen!

This is a review based on the service. We were seated and it took 45 minutes to get coffee, even 10 minutes after asking where it is. The food arrived an hour after we were seated, and it wasn’t very busy. Besides the slow service, the woman that works there was EXTREMELY rude to a table that asked where there good was, even cussed at them. I’ve never seen such a disrespectful server. Even after she wouldn’t apologize and we asked for our bill and she forgot. The table behind us sent their food back as well. Terrible service and extremely rude?! We will definitely not be coming back. It’s a shame because the place was cute and the food was decent.

Sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück, Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich (sprach aber kaum deutsch). Der Kaffee war eher unterdurchschnittlich, aber okay.
Der ganze Laden war sehr hipster-​mäßig (Einrichtung, Kellner, Gäste, laute Musik) und die Auswahl der Speisen recht klein (kaum süßes, vieles mit Ei). Wen das nicht stört und wer Lust auf ein leckeres Frühstück mit Z. B. frisch gepressten Säften hat, ist hier aber gut aufgehoben!

Wenn man ein reichhaltiges American Frühstück sucht oder ziemlich geile Bürger, dann ist man hier definitiv richtig!
Zum Frühstück hatte ich bisher die Pancakes mit Blueberries und die Pope Benedict eggs. Beides war sehr lecker und hat sich den Namen American Breakfast auf jeden Fall bedient.
Der Sunday Roast ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Meine Freundin hatte da schicken was super lecker und super viel ist. Also was für den großen Hunger! Ich hatte den Burger mit Swiss Cheese und Pommes. Mega gut!
Kommt her und testet es selber. Ihr werdet nicht enttäuscht!!!

If you’re vegan and choose to go here, prepare to go hungry. The options are minimal (2 or 3 things, maybe?) and mediocre, and service is slow. So many other choices in Berlin.

Waited 10 minutes to be seated. 25 for drinks and 40 for the food. They are lucky the food is so good or no one would be waiting in line. The French Toast was good but the 2 eggs plate was nothing special and the pancakes were cold.
The table next to us didn’t get the food they ordered and had to wait over an hour for the correct food.

I stopped in for a quick breakfast around the opening time. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a great repurposed wood bar. I ordered a fresh-​squeezed orange juice, a latte, and the black bean huevos rancheros. The drinks were exactly what I was hoping for and the food was very tasty. The service bordered on inattentive, but they seemed to know many of the other guests which inspired a sense of familiarity. Overall, I was rather satisfied with the experience as a whole. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Ich empfehle die Apparition Pancakes für 6,90 €. Man bekommt drei gestapelte, vorzüglich schmeckende Pancakes, getoppt mit Obst, einer Kugel Butter, Pekannüssen und Vanillesoße. Dazwischen sind Minzeblätter und dazu wird eins A Ahornsirup serviert. Laut Karte könnten zu diesen Erscheinungseierkuchen, ich vermute himmlischen Eierkuchen, sporadisch Maria oder Josef auftauchen … nicht zu Unrecht!

Eine sehr gute Adresse um abends schnell mal etwas ungesundes essen zu gehen. Freundliches Personal und ein nettes Ambiente.
Ich wurde durch die Plakate auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam und entschied mich mit Freunden hinzugehen.
Via Telefon einfach eine Reservierung abgegeben und ich wurde auch sofort auf die Tage hingewiesen, an welchem man in der Regel keine Reservierung benötig.
Das Ambiente hat einen gewissen Charm; einen Misch aus Retro und Alternativ.
Die Karte hatte ausreichend viele Gerichte, was bei der Lage eher für ein Restaurant spricht. Des Weiteren war es auch kein Problem, dass vier Personen sich einen großen Teller mit Vorspeisen teilten.
Als von der bestellten Biersorte nicht mehr genug Flaschen für eine zweite Runde vorhanden waren, wurde sich ordentlich entschuldigt und die Bedienung stand mit Rat zur Seite um ähnliche Sorten anzubieten.
Sowohl auf die Vorspeise als auch die Burger danach haben wir kaum lange warten müssen und alles war sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Besonders gut waren die selbst gemachten Fritten, was man heute eher selten findet. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Chilisauce zum nachwürzen.
Nachdem später die Küche geschlossen hatte und nur noch wenige Gäste im Restaurant waren, bekamen wir sogar wegen des Regens einen Aschenbecher zum letzten Bier auf den Tisch gestellt.
Alles in allem war der Besuch gelungen.
Warum nur 4 von 5 Sternen:
Wenn man nur eine kleine Auswahl an Bieren auf der Karte hat und das Restaurant nicht brechend voll ist, sollte man schon mal mehr als 3 Flaschen eines Bieres haben, dass auch in jedem Späti in Berlin erhältlich ist.
Bei Gerichten mit Hackbällchen in Sauce müssen die Hackbällchen durch gebraten sein. Bissfest ist gut, aber trotzdem bitte innen nicht rosa.
Ebenso sollte man bei Burger fragen wie das Fleisch gebraten werden solle und nicht einfach jedem Gast eine kleine «Überraschung» präsentieren.

Burger: Classic, 7,90 Euro
Ein klassischer Cheeseburger, der im oben 3-​Sterne-​Segment anzusiedeln ist. Wie so oft, sind die Buns eine Stufe zu trocken und nehmen damit eine zu dominante Rolle ein. Eine gute Alternative ist das Tempura-​Gemüse, welches serienmäßig zum Burger gereicht wird. Es kann aber auch ohne Aufpreis gegen Fritten oder Salat ausgetauscht werden.

If you read the small texts that are hidden around one of the most amusing menus I have read — you will find «death to hoity toities» — and I am sorry to say — some of the staff are a bit hoity toity themselves, I wish them a long and happy life though.
So we sat in on a saturday for brunch and my mood was not too great, so comfort food would totally cheer me up — we ordered chilaquilas and strawberry mint pancakes —
it took some time, but the waitress did inform us it would be so, so we waited patiently — both dishes were great, but for the pancakes i’d pick a different glaze than ahorn syrup, pretty sure they can figure something out.
To drink I have ordered blood OJ — don’t — just don’t, unless you like it VERY bitter, the reguler OJ was great and my friend said the coffee was not too bad either
I love how that place looks, the people who come there look mostly hipster-​ish that come because it’s some sort of «the place to be»
The music was great and it was a great cheer for me to listen to alt+j at these rough times
good food and good music in the backgrounf, interesting blend of people and over all not a bad experience
Prices are too high in my opinion though.

I have to say for being there on the first really nice sunny Sunday that Berlin has seen in March, the place was packed however we only waited a little and then we’re seated. We ordered our food eggs Benedict with ham and fried eggs with Texas style sausage links and hashbrowns (which I ordered extra crispy but that didn’t work out) apart from that the food tasted great and to go along with it I ordered a extra spicy bloddy marry and that was great. The place still needs some work but it kind of goes with the theme I guess but the service we received was really really good. Surprisingly I’m already looking forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu.
Must try in my eyes… Enjoy

Wir waren an einem Sonntag zum Frühstück und hier mein Fazit:
Positiv:
— Leckeres selbstgemachte Säfte
— Leckeres herzhaftes Essen
— Freundliche Bedienung
Negativ:
— Lange Wartezeiten
Was ich aber besonders negativ empfand war, daß ich ein lange Haar in meinem Essen gefunden habe. Als ich die Bedienung darauf hingewiesen habe, kam nur ein at least it’s not dark!
Würde ich nicht nochmal hingehen, bei der großen Auswahl.
