Probably the best IPA I’ve had in Berlin. It’s located in the back of a little farmers market building. I’d like to come back sometime and make a meal from some of the neighboring food venders and eat it here while having a couple of craft beers.

Notes on the location: BrewBaker used to have a location on Flensburgerstraße, beneath the railway. This location is no longer open. However, the address on Arminiusstraße, in the Arminiusmarkthalle is accurate.

Nifty place — a stand inside a large marketplace. I initially thought this place was closed because the Brewbaker entrance on the street was closed. Thankfully, I found it. Their kit was inside with two superb beers on tap(unfortunately they were sold out of bottles). Excellent quality. Good prices. A must visit. Near the U, so pretty convenient to get here. For my money, probably the best beer getting produced in Berlin.

First of all, this brewpub is literally built into the train tracks — under the arch of the brick elevated trains. This sounds more unappealing than it is. We walked into the cosy space and were greeted by earthy brick tones flickering in the candlelight, another couple enjoying dinner, and the sweetest old unassuming dog lying by the entrance. My girlfriend and I opted for one beer a piece, although everything looked or sounded wonderful. I had the ginger ale(as in ginger beer, not as in seagram’s) and the lady had a red lager. Both were absolutely A+. After seeing another table with a delicious looking pasta dish, we opted for the same thing. It turned out to be penne pasta with pumpkin ragu. It left absolutely nothing to be desired. Everything was perfect, and I cannot think of anything I would change about the BrewBaker, except that they stop serving their pumpkin lager after Halloween.
