Went on a small group bike tour (just 3 of us) with Alex a few weeks ago. We went all over Berlin, and really felt like we had an intimate connection with the city through the eyes of Alex. We learned slit about history of the city, in particular the impact on the citizens. We learned to appreciate the city as one of the original melting pots and bastion for liberal thought, naturally set against tragic past. Such a vibrant, active city – the tour allowed us to feel a part of it if only for a few hours. We also like how the tour was customized based on our interests – Alex met with us at the start to plan out our itinerary so that all three of us would find something of interest. Alex himself had a laid back demeanor, but his pride in his city clearly came through. Highly recommended!
