Vom Fass

A gorgeous shop where everything is «vom fass» or on tap. They have a great selection of oils both flavoured and different origin olive oils. They have a selection of vinegars on tap, locally made liqueurs, single malt scotch whiskeys, schnapps and juices.
You can also buy pre packaged gifts or have one made for you. The prices are expensive but I suppose if you are buying special items in small quantities they are likely to be expensive.
Staff were quite friendly and spoke English pretty well. Whilst they offered to help it would have been nice if they had explained how the shop works and what was possible as we would probably have bought a thing or two more.
I would like to try some of their stuff and must make time to properly browse through this shop :-)

Beim «Vom Fass» bekommt man alles, was flüssig in der Küche verwendet wird (z.B. Öle, Essige) oder getrunken werden kann (Säfte, Weine, Spirituosen). Alles kann in selbst mitgebrachte Behältnisse oder aber (oft als Geschenk sehr ansprechend gestaltet) in dort angebotenen, ansprechenden Fläschchen jeder erdenklicher Form und Größe abgefüllt werden. Man darf auch alle offen dargebotenen Flüssigkeiten probieren, um die Katze nicht im Sack kaufen zu müssen. Die Preise sind manchmal etwas teuerer als im Supermarkt aber die Waren sind eben auch in der Qualität und im Geschmack immer etwas Besonderes und somit ihr Geld wert. Die freundliche Bedienung hilft einem geduldig mit fachkundigem Rat bei der Auswahl der Produkte. Mit einem Geschenk «Vom Fass» hebt man sich wohltuend ab vom alltäglichen Einerlei und demonstriert dem Beschenkten, dass er für mich etwas besonderes ist.
